Well most Malaysians can say "give up" and be resigned to a life of Bankruptcy if the Barisan gains control of Parliament in the next elections.

Yes this is a fact, and all those who believe Najib's rhetoric had better think again, his constant promises, his constant lies and his inability to control the nations finances should be the lesson to learn from.

His refusal to come out and clear his name for, the sacking of the Attorney General, the unresolved murder of Altantuya Sharibu, the 1MDB case and much more, has made it untenable  for him to carry on as PM. The office of the Prime Minster Of Malaysia has thus been compromised. Moreover and to make matters worse he does not even have the popular vote of the Malaysians meaning that in the last elections more voters did not want him and BN than want him and BN the majority of voters in Malaysia wanted the Opposition to rule.

Najib's government and very particularity him, are one of  the very few if not the only government and O1, to have been accused of Kleptocracy. Very honestly I am yet to hear of another therefore in my books he is the only one.

Malaysia' Household Debt.

Malaysia has one of the highest household debts in the world

Malay, Chinese and Indian contributing factors.
For those of you who have managed Malays, they will tell you that Malays are famous for taking loans., and Malays make up sixty percent of the population, the Indians follow suit through dire need they struggle to make ends meet. Icna't tell you much about the Oran Asal in Sabah and Sarawak, I am quite sure they are not the borrowing kind like their West Malaysian brothers.

From my own personal experience these groups  the will come in droves looking for a Company loan and threaten to leave if the Company does not give them a loan.

To "help employers"  (not really, employers saw it as a great escape route though) with the problem in those days, (I do not know if it still exists), Bank Rakyat would offer  Malays a loan at about 1 or 1.5 percent interest less than what they'd give a non- Malay

That really made life easy for employers, they did not have to offer any security for the loan nor worry about any security for loans  the employee took, all they had to do was to agree to do his monthly deductions as long as he was in the employ of the Company.

The employee taking the loan had to have a guarantor and it would normally work this way with them;  "I  guarantee you and you guarantee me" and the loan problem for the employee was solved.   As long as there was a loan to take they took it  and after repaying the loan they'd begin all over again.

In some Companies and this is not in the minority the loan shark does a roving business and he holds the bank card of the employee, taking his loan repayment installment first before drawing money for the card holder.

Then of course there are credit cards, and the Banks are all around the place offering credit cards and these people are all around the place signing  up for credit cards even today. You can take a loan with your credit card and that is precisely what they do till they over spend.Credit card debt in this country is one of the highest per capita in Asia.

Some young Chinese boys use this to take money for gambling and then they get into all sorts of troubles. They'd take another credit card and take a loan on that card to finance part gambling and part repayment for the other overdue credit card. I have personally come across many of these cases. When all fails some  resort to theft and other petty crimes and I feel if left unchecked the crimes could get bigger.

 Money everywhere to Borrow.

Credit cards, installment schemes for purchase of cars, household equipment suppliers like the radio TV shop, Camera shops etc   hs  made super easy for many and many take  loans, and many  do not repay. I know law firms that just send out notices to these people on behalf of banks.

What is even worse, is that there are motorcar credit Companies offering loans without down payment and if that was not bad enough they'd advertise blatantly saying " Customers in the Blacklist"  also welcome."

The Property Bubble on the verge of bursting

If anyone comes out saying, "Kepala Otak Kau"  I have the perfect reply for him.
Wouldd hve been sold out like hot cakes before. Now going for a minimum of 1.3 mil

There are housing loans, Educational loans, vehicle purchase loans and what not and today the household debt in the country is at above 70 percent and that is a very dangerous figure, the World Bank does not trust Malaysian government's figures and that is a serious problem, it means the nation has lost its credibility.

Forecasters say the property market bubble is about to burst,  housing schemes are struggling to get buyers, whilst people who bought on speculation are now finding it a problem selling and even renting their property.

With the expected increase in unemployment many buyers are expected to default on their housing loans, so what recourse have the banks?

If the bubble does burst housing developers will have to get real,  developers must lower the price of  houses and other property, they are just simply overpriced and developers are getting greedier by the day. Of course they can argue that it is all driven by supply and demand, they will not talk about the speculators. Well the time is here the speculatoris aboutto get roasted, and the developer is in for hard times.

When the bubble bursts  property prices will decline steeply, at rates never witnessed before and the Government must not and should not go in to bail them out, that will be our biggest mistake.

Reluctantly present house buyers will default on their loans as the amounts they are currently paying will be much higher than what developers will be offering for bigger and newer property and this will send the industry into a frenzy.

The burden must not be left to the bona fide buyer alone, the Banks that fed this greedy  enterprise have to bear the risk as well and so too the developers, there will be huge lessons to be learned once this happens and make no mistake it is already happening.

From what is being said now about the state of the property market the bursting of this bubble can be expected sooner rather than later, this will force banks to foreclose on property and declare  many a Malaysian Bankrupt. Not just one or two but many and you could be one, Yes a  Bankrupt., and the only persons who have the ability to stop that are found in Pakatan Harapan no Joke.

Najib has to take the blame for this, the drastic depreciation of the Malaysin Ringgit was caused in no small way  by Najib's mismanagement of the Malaysian economy but rather  in a big way, by the huge 1MDB scandal and now to add to that there are two more maybe even bigger scandals to follow, one the FELDA scandal and the other the Tabung Haji scandal, what surprise in the scandal storehouse  is awaiting to be revealed next is anybody's guess.

Najib is now trying to mine the EPF for funds, the body has been been able to manage its finances very well all this time, but with Najib it is a different story. He has placed his appointees in key positions in the EPF and is beginning to treat it as his own Bank.

Even your money in the EPF has depreciated  more than 30 per cent, the buying power of your ringgit is diminishing by the day, subsidies have been taken out, petrol prices are going up by the week although we are a net oil exporter of a higher and more expensive grade of oil, GST has helped the government collect more revenue from the people who are being hard pressed with the removal of subsides and the rise of prices for essential commodities,  whilst they tells us to be thrifty,  Mrs. Najib shops and shops for the most expensive products for her own personal use and as the !MDB audit reveals a good sue from the 1MDB funds too was used for this expensive and glamorous shopping sprees

To finance Aircraft for MAS will be suicidal, the airline has had trouble with aircraft from the very beginning, it had to be bailed out twice and now to use EPF to try and fortify that will be extremely dangerous especially knowing how Najib does business from the experiences of the 1MDB

If Najib comes back to power or for that matter anyone in the BN,  this beloved  country is doomed  to the  fate of becoming a  Bankrupt Nation and we shall become a Nation of Bankrupts through no fault of ours.

Want to know what it is like?

Well we are lucky,  we can  ask the Greeks, the Spanish, the Portuguese, the Irish and the Argentinians they'll tell us.

One of he most frightening things they'll tell us  is that our money in the  bank will only be part our money, and we can take only part of that out.

Now does that make you feel right? Certainly not.

For your sake and truly the sake of your children and their children's children;

After attending to the present crisis we have to find out what was the Met doing
MCA sec Gen makes stupid excuses and Met Malaysia is Silent.
MCA Youth Chief shoots himself in the foot and does not even know what he has done yet.

By Toffee

Only the scum in politics will use a natural disaster to try and gain political mileage out of it.

MCA's Sec Gen Ong Ka Chuan to try and save face has insulted himself, his party and his Youth Chief by comparing this 43 year old man with a juvenile delinquent.
full of excuses.

What happened in Penang can happen anywhere in Malaysia but Penang is more exposed as it lies in the northern part of  Peninsular Malaysia, and very rightfully  as the Deputy PM put it it is time to put Politics aside.

The unusually heavy rainfall was cased by a tropical disturbance and one has to understand these types of "Tropical Disturbances" before making sarcastic and insulting statements in an effort to gain political mileage.

MCA secretary-general Ong Ka Chuan is either a damn fool or he takes the Penang Chinese to be damn fools,.

When asked whether the party would take disciplinary action against the party's youth chief Chong Sin Woon over his remarks  to Lim Guan Eng saying, "the diety like Lim Guan Eng should not fight the Heavens amid the floods."  a remark clearly designed to insult the Chief Minister which was totally uncalled for and insulting not only to the CM but the people of Penang especilly he Chinese, Ong Ka Chuan replied saying , "after all he is  a young man who can be hotblooded." What a stupid excuse.

To equate Guan Eng with a Tokong is to insult the Chinese of Penang those who voted Guan Eng in, he is implying the Chinese treat Guan Eng as a Diety. The people of Penang do consider Guan Eng their Hero yes, the Hero who came to free them from the corrupt clutches of the BN.

MCA is dead and the dead can't be resurrected.

Young Man? and is hotblooded? Is that  the excuse for a Youth leader of a party that is supposed or rather claims to represent the Chinese?
Looks small for the Chair in all respects.

Perhaps Ong Ka Chuan is ignorant of the fact, that the President of France today Emmanuel Jean-Michel Frédéric Macron is 39 years old, and that is old enough to look after one of the most powerful countries in the whole world. If Ong's excuse is acceptable then the majority of France must be idiots.

Ong  says, "hopefully people can understand and not take it to heart he is only 43 years old," yes "only 43" years old and is the head of the MCA Youth movement.

Do not hide behind the tag "Youth" because the real definition of Youth places them in  a category of up to about 25 years old at the most. In fact the United Nations, for statistical purposes, defines those persons between the ages of 15 and 24 as youth..." and any dictionary will give you a similar meaning.

A man at the age of 43 cannot be described as "a young and hot blooded man," it clearly shows the attitude of MCA leaders and how they think. If at 43 you are implying he is immatured one wonders what quality MCA has.

At his age many  a man even in Malaysia have attained the position of CEO and other "C-suite positions "  of fairly large companies, so how can he describe this man be described as as young? Ha he got a problem Chong or have you got one?

Stop these misleading statements , learn how to discipline your politicians, they should be responsible people and as they should be trained to serve and respect the rakyat, or is it different in the MCA?

Any politician or political party that uses or allows its members to use natural disasters for political mileage are not politicians but gutter snipes of the lowest order.

I take my hat off to Zahid the DPM (although he is not some one I admire politically),  for the stance he took in this case. I'd like to personally salute that stance he took and the call he made that it should not be political. Tabay for once, and I mean it Datuk.

At his political best

Understanding the Storm
What is a Tropical disturbance or depression? for more details please refer to TROPICAL CYCLONE, ROUGH SEAS ANDSEVERE WEATHER

Met Monitoring

I'll not try and explain this but let me remind readers that Malaysia has been hit by tropical storms of this nature including the great floods of 1969 that affected almost the whole country.
flood scene

Why was the early warning system not Triggered in time.

There is in Malaysia an early warning system for such occurrences and yet what happened in Penang was not reported well in advance for the right authorities to take appropriate action.
It states.
Tropical Depression(TD) Warnings and TD Advisories (for TDs which are significant enough) are disseminated to the disaster management agencies via short message system (SMS), facsimile and telephone calls.
The public can access the TD Advisories/Warnings through the Internet, social media(Facebook and Twitter), live media broadcast, TV, Radio and the print media.
The above does not come under the purview of the Penang State government but the Malaysian Meteorological Department(MetMalaysia) Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. No report indicates that the Penang Government was made aware of these unusually heavy rains and potential life threatening floods.

Thsi early warnig system comes under the  Malaysian Meteorological Department(MetMalaysia) Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and no one in Malaysia seemed to have the slightest inclination of this happening, but then again could this have been a freak occurrence?

If it was a freak occurrence there could still have been some warnings prior to the storm if monitoring was present, so to try and put the blame of a Natural disaster on the Penang Government could be akin to saying since MH370 flew over Penang,  Penang Government must be responsible.

Now Liow is up and about pretending that the MCA is going to wipe the DAP out in the next elections, these are separate issues. this si a natural disaster and beyond the control of the Penang Government it is what is often referred to as an Act of God.

The elections wil not be an act of God it will be an act of man.  Malaysians are more confident than ever, havign aken out the popular vote,a t the last elections from Najib,  that this time around with the increasing number of Malays in the opposition - thanks to Mahathir,  the BN days are  its very end, what more MCA will come out without a single seat in Parliament and Najib knows that too well too,  the research carried out by UMNO reveals, the party to be wiped out this time is MCA and so he has asked them for 15 seats to be appointed to the cabinet, hoping against hope that they can bring in at least 5.

He is equipping them with the threats they have to take to the Chinese, one of it being if the Chinese do not support him he will turn Malaysia into an Islamic state with PAS, but the stupid MCA does not realise that even in Saudi Arabia they are now trying to undo the strict adherence to the Sharia Law, and that PAS is a spent force which even Hadi has recently acknowledged, when he said PAS is not about winning seats.

To the young and innocent MCA members who are being taken up by lofty ideals please remember this, desert the fallen cause now, have some pride, save the people of Malaysia and do not threaten the Chinese to get what you want. Most importantly  do not be on the wrong side of the wall when this government falls because it is going to fall at the next General Elections.

Is the Penang Government to blame?

It is quite clearly no fault of the Penang Government, but the Penang Government is not blaming anyone else for it either and the reasons are quite obvious, that is not important for now.

There just isn't any time for that, the priority is the people of Penang who are affected, not blame games and The Penang Government is aware of it.

This natural Disaster could have been foreseen at least 8 hours before it occurred, the Meteorological Department which comes under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation did not give Malaysians and the people of Penang adequate warning to prepare for these storms, anyway, that should be dealt with later after the aid and other measures are taken to mitigate the current crisis,   in the meantime the Met has to do more serious monitoring, and keep people informed as the season of this depression is yet to be over.

Najib family friend arrested In Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia's newly formed anti-corruption committee have arrested at least 17 princes and top officials, and among them is the good friend and close business associate of Najib bin Razak Prince Turki Bin Abdullah with whom 1MDB headed by Najib set up the Petro Saudi 1MDB Joint Venture if you remember well.
All in the family including Jho Lo the Prince Turki with the white cap

Prince Turki Bin Abdullah is a Prince from the house of Saud, and it has been claimed that the monies that went into Najib's personal Bank Account were donations of the Saudi King.

Probably this is the right time for Malaysian officials to seek clarification from the Saudi Anti Corruption committee especially at  a time when Saudi Arabia seems to be going all out to wipe out corruption.

USA Today reports that , "The kingdom’s top council of clerics issued a statement saying "it is an Islamic duty to fight corruption" — essentially giving religious backing to the high-level arrests being reported. A top royal court official, Badr al-Asaker, on Sunday appeared to confirm the arrests on Twitter, describing a “historic and black night against the corrupt.”

If it is indeed an Islamic duty to fight corruption I think it is high time the Muslims in Malaysia showed the world that this is the case. They have to fight it here on the international stage and what better a platform than the 1MDB as it is rated the biggest Corruption case in the world. Are the Malaysian Muslims strong enough to join forces with the Saudi Arabian Anti Corruption Committee and expose this the world's largest corruption case.

The Saudi government said the anti-corruption committee has the right to issue arrest warrants, impose travel restrictions and freeze bank accounts.

It went further to say, "it  can also trace funds, prevent the transfer of funds or the liquidation of assets, and take other precautionary measures until cases are referred to the judiciary."

This is an excellent time for top Malaysian Opposition candidates. especially Dr. Mahathir, Zaid Ibrahim and Mohammad Sabu to approach the Saudi Government of the day to seek clarification on the "donation" Najib talked about, and verify the claim by  Ahmad Zahid Hamidi the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia that he met the donor who was supposed to be the Saudi King.

Najib in serious discussions with the Turki

Surprisingly Turki's name is missing from the BBC and CNN reports the Turki mentioned there is Turki bin Nasser another Turkey in this case.

Turki Bin Abdullah or rather Najib's Turkey was revealed in a list released by Forbes and other media including Badr Asaker, the bureau manager of the Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman.

The surprise arrests, which also reportedly included two of the late King Abdullah’s sons, (one of whom is Turki Bin Abdullah) were hailed by pro-government media outlets in the Kingdom  as   sign  that the  Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman means business and is serious in keeping his promise to reform the country, that has long been plagued by allegations of corruption at the highest levels of government.

This is an opportunity for Malaysia to get to the bottom of the lies of the 1MDB saga, the Jho Lo connection, because this man has had a lot of dealings with Jho lo too and expose the kleptocracy in full so that those people who still refuse to believe in Najib's huge case of alleged kleptocracy may realise the truth and how urgently this nation needs to vote out the BN and Najib for good.

If you read the news at today's Parliament session all Ministers and Deputy Ministers were absent with the exception of Deputy Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Henry Sum Agong who tabled he Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia Bill 2017 for the second reading.

Henry Sum Agong - Mana lain Orang Menteri?
Dewan Rakyat deputy speaker Ismail Mohamed Said, who chaired the sitting, could not find a single minister or deputy minister in the house to second the bill.

Who will second the Bill he asked, but there was no reply as there weren't any minister for deputy minister in the house to do so.

Was this because BN has suddenly realised that Sabah will now fall to the opposition?

There is one thing I can tell you and that if indeed there was a separate meeting for this panic stricken BN, is there were at least 2  Sabahans MP's at the separate meeting which I suspect was the cause of this absence, both these 2 and maybe 4 are now against the BN and will make their move after the General Elections or even maybe on the eve of the elections.

Whatever the issue that was discussed the people of Sabah are disgusted and they are all showing their defiance to the BN openly in Sabah.

It was the Parti Kapal Layar (the Alliance) that brought Sabah into the Malaysian fold, then called the
Brought Sabah into Malaysiaa
Parti Perikatan or the Alliance party with the Sailing boat  as its symbol, now it looks very like Sahffie Apdal's Party Warisan Sabah ironically  with a Sailing boat as its symbol too that looks set to sail the BN and Najib into te furthest reaches of the South China Sea. and out of Sabah.

Set to send Najib and BN out inot the deep of the China Sea
Shafie  had the party well groomed  and ready for this Barisan move, he recruited youthful leaders in in the Party,  in a state where the majority of the population are youth. He placed them in key positions in the party to be ready to take the helm in his and his deputy's absence which they are doing right now, excellently.

Warisan Sabah together with the combined opposition forces there are out to claim back all Oil moneys wrongly taken out of the state by the BN and to implement the states rights under the 1963
Malaysia Agreement (MA63) to the letter.

There is also talk that Sabah whilst remaining in Malaysia as an equal partner with Sarawak and Malaya, each  will have their  own Prime Ministers and one Malaysian Prime Minister, the Sabah PM  will assume  full powers of a Prime Minister of Sabah, "that should have been there from day
Where did our Oil Money go asks the East?
one says one Warisan member, "check out the history  of   Malaysia, when Singapore was part of Malaysia Lee Kuan Yew was not the Chief Minister of Singapore, he was the Prime Minister of Singapore, so there should not be Chief Minister of Sabah but the Prime Minister of Sabah. After the next Elections it will be the Prime Minister of Sabah as we are confident the BN is out," he said.

I ask him over the app, "what about Sarawak, will they follow you?"

Almost instantly he sends a reply, "look Sarawak as far as we know is also going to Boot Najib and the BN, so certainly they will, they may not be thinking of it now, but when we do it they will too, we have discussed this common goal and we are all in agreement,  we are sure, why shouldn't they? We must be treated as equal partners, they must see us that way, they are not our bosses."

Is Najib being given the actual picture of his fixed deposit this time around I wonder, or is his fixed Deposit about to have him and the BN fixed at the next General Elections."

Whilst the BN is plotting all sorts of schemes behind the scenes wit their cronies working overtime, other more serious minded Sabah and Sarawak politicians are working furiously for an all Sabah and Sarawak Alliance to deplete the BN presence in the east.

With a manifesto focused on the  states rights under the historic Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), all the united opposition of the two states are working closely to ensure that  it  will not only be attractive as political tool, but it will deliver  those sacred rights that were taken away from the people two states by BN.

"The manifesto is being kept a secret to be released at the 'right time ' as the East Malaysians are not fools, we know that Najib is a famous copy cat, and if it is released that is exactly what he will put in print and claim it as his own with empty promises, like he did with the opposition during the last elections." said one source from the Sabah Reform Party.

The brains this time formulating the manifesto are very notable people both  within and outside the political circles of Sabah and Sarawak, professionals who are held in high esteem for  their courage, their dedication and their integrity to the state and the peoples of Malaysia, held in high esteem by the peoples of Malaysia,  and all of them with the exception of one, with wide experience in Constitutional law is from the East.

Where is my home
The person who is apparently heading the work group has said "in the final analysis is it is the people of Sabah and Sarawak who will determine their destiny."  This time around the people  are being coached by NGO's working behind the curtains to educate the East Malaysians of their rights, and the big picture of what the future holds with the BN and without the BN.

Te\he message going around is this, the two are the richest states in the country and yet among the most if not the most backward. The people re being told tht their Oil wealth has been taken to enrich UMNO leaders,a nd the states in the West, to boost up the infrastructure there too whilst the East

Gone the Richness and the Beauty of my land
from where the Oil has been taken has been completely neglected. The word is out if the BN offers money take it, but then vote them out, because if you vote them in they'll take millions of times more from you after the elections.

The two states among the richest in the country are among the most backward and that alone is sufficient reason for the peoples of North Borneo to make a change and claim all their rights in accordance  with their rights spelt out in the Historic Malaysia Agreement 1963 (63).

What I am really worried about is, will  this turn out to be our own Catalonia story?

Click to see protest outside the jail: Tangkap Najib Tangkap Musa (Aman)

Monday, October 23, 2017

Anger grows in Sabah as Sabahans question the treatment of Shafie Apdal.

Sabah UMNO Chief Musa Aman's wealth is an open secret, that it has also benefited his family is no longer a secret they say and yet the MACC which they say should be called NACC (N for Najib) is now on a political witch hunt and has decided to go for Sahfie Apdal, the man who spurned Najib and was sacked from UMNO by Najib.

In the first place says one Sabah observer the NACC chief should be disqualified as there is irrevocable evidence of his adultery and instead of doing the right things he says people are targeting him. He seems to be to be doing Najib's bidding and his adultery is being overlooked, that in iteself is corruption.

The people of Sabah are now asking the MACC to arrest Najib in the face of overwhelming evidence of his own corrupt practices involving billions of "people money" and Musa Aman too for corrupt practices.

Expertise - making all the wrong moves
Referring to NACC chief one Sabah MP interviewed over the phone had this to say, "he (the MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad) is quoted in Malaysiakini to have said '"I would like to stress that I and my colleagues in MACC will carry out our duty to the best of our ability and will not be affected by these dirty and disgusting attacks,' what dirty attacks is he talking about, the arrest of Apdal is dirty very dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty. Dzulkifli should stop accusing people of using dirty tactics, if they are nto true he should sue those responsible for what he calls "dirty tricks" against him.
His arrest is uniting Sabahans from all sides against UMNO

This MP is not from Shafie Apdal's camp on the contrary he is a Barisan MP and he continued "you can't come over here and catch Sabahans at your whims and fancies and throw them out, or into jail,  it has been happening for too long, this is what the Federal people do, do they think we are trash? Don't play with the people of Sabah we'll teach them a lesson they have not yet experienced," when asked what the lesson was he said,  "just wait it could happen before the elections, it could happen the minute the results are confirmed" he said., "if we don't the next time it could be me, it could be anybody, so as Sabahans we must take a stand, there is too much pressure from the people of Sabah now," he said.

"If we do not act now we will get fired from both sides, that is first the people of Sabah will kick us off like they did Harris Salleh, and also if we do not and assuming we do not get kicked off Najib will get us jailed if we object to the ways he handles Sabah, we might as well get the BN out of Sabah and then watch and see the MACC chief come to Sabah."

The ripples of what is happening in Sabah is now being felt ins Sarawak as well, the people of Sarawak  are asking the same question Mashathir asked, "why didn't Najib  act against Shafie Apdal whilst he was in the BN and when he was an UMNO VP?" Note they are not asking why is the MACC Chief not acting, but rather, "why didn't Najib Act."  They do not believe that this action is independently being carried out by the MACC chief.

Note, Dzulkifli Ahmad had in May declared that MACC will only go after  allegedly corrupt politicians after the 14th general election explaining that  this was to avoid MACC being dragged into politics and its cases being used as fodder for campaigning in the general elections.  Why is he now going after opposition politicians?

Why has  Dzulkifli  not gone against Najib as Sabahans are now openly asking?
Why has he not against Musa Aman as Sabahans are now asking? In both cases there is an overwhelming amount of evidence even in public domain for him to act on, so it's no surprise why the Sarawakians point the finger at Najib and not at him.
Najib is fast losing his fixed deposit, it is turning out that the fixed deposit is now about to fix the BN and that  machinery has begun to roll in the Eastand the BN has Najib to thank for this, he is shooting himself, UMNO and the BN in the foot.

Najib's Mega Headache!!! - The Next elections

 by Toffee

Together as one for one purpose the Nation.

The battle lines have already been drawn, that PAS is in the BN fold is no longer a secret, but how they plan to play the game is the lingering question that is on everyone's mind including the racist parties like the MCA, the Gerakan and MIC chieftains.

These other racist parties excluding UMNO  in the BN fold are not privy to much that is happening in the UMNO - PAS tie up, they are not supposed to be,  as PAS does not trust them and so too do many from UMNO imagine a party from outside the BN can dictate to UMNO,  "what, who should know" so, they are kept in the dark, the leaders of these racist parties  know it too but choose to remain quiet as to them, the most important thing in the whole game are their own seats,  it is a "what is there in it for me  that counts attitude", after all almost every leader from the these racist parties in the past became millionaires after their term in office, and these are no exceptions,  and that is I think the only motivation that drives them. I can't think of any other, considering the circumstances.
Hear,See speak no Evil (just pretend to)

Well one thing looks certain the MCA and  the Gerakan are not going to get the favours they usually get from the BN (UMNO actually) to wrest their seats, if it is a Malay majority seat UMNO or PAS wants it this time around, unless there is a substantial minority and by that I mean at least 40 percent of the electorate in the constituency has to be Chinese then of course the battle  will be between Gerakan and the  MCA as to who gets the seat, they can't rely on the Malay for the charitable vote. The MIC is still holding its hand out whilst Kayves from PPP tries to pluck out Cameron Highlands, whoever gets it it will not make difference, the BN will be defeated there.

Gerakan and MCA can maintain their traditional Penang seats, so they can't complain, winning is another story, losing their deposits is the highest probability.
He supported the move by religious extremists

Liow is assured of his Bentong seat though - assured to be able to only  contest the seat on a BN ticket winning it is a completely different issue and a huge doubt lingers there,  Liow is working very hard, even harder than he did as a minister, as a minister  he hardly works I am told.
Dead Party man walking

His desperation has got the better of him, he has gone to beg the Indians in the Bentong constituency, but  the Indians in Bentong had made up their mind long before, it is not going to be Liow for certain  this time around,  as the MCA has done literally nothing for them at all, all  the while they have held the seat, and it is only now, when fighting  for dear life and when even the majority of Chinese are deserting him that Liow has decided to go to the Indians.

Well the Indians know better they are no fools, the  "Indians never stood a chance with the MCA in place and they know it, why even the Chinese were overlooked except for some cronies in the MCA,  and they'll tell you,  so what about us," asked Varatharajoo a small Indian contractor in Bentong who makes a living providing weeders for the small holdings in the area.

Varatharajoo's sentiments were echoed by Kamala Devi a single mother who angrily said, " that man (Liow) has no shame to approach us, I have struggled here in Bentong bringing up my three Children all these years,  doing all kinds of work, there was no help from the MCA, every time I approached them they told me to see the MIC representative who is hardly around and has no time for us, if I must see the MIC representative, why must I vote MCA? I did not  get welfare, I struggled and the Chinese who helped me here were not the MCA towkays, some of them would see Liow when he came by smile laugh and shake his hands attend dinners with him,  but the minute he turned his back they would curse him, ask the people in Bentong, they'll tell you, these are my real friends and they are not voting the MCA and so am I."

Postal votes and armed forces votes can't go to the MCA or for that matter even the MIC, as UMNO is in dire straits, the fact that they have to go for a pact with PAS is evidence of this panic. At the same time many UMNO members are watching to see what considerations and goodies Najib is going to give PAS at their expense. One Negri Assemblyman said,  "if they sacrifice us for PAS then I can assure you Najib's is as good as gone."

Down south in Johor the mood is right, ask the Johoreans, the educated elite, the ones who work with the grassroots, these are UMNO members who want a change and are willing to sacrifice the next two or even three elections to get the equation right. The performance of the opposition in Johor during the last elections was to a very great extent aided by the work of  this group.

One of them a charted accountant told  me this time, "the party has to be purged of all the filth that sticks to it like glue", he likens the the filth with slime, he says "it sticks and is difficult to remove so a thorough cleaning job is required, we need to wash with  acid, yes", he  says, "it is an acid test, we need to clean with acid and an acid wash is what is required."

"Today's UMNO is Branded on the corrupt mentality of its membership, we need to re-brand the entire party, to do that we'll need to re-educate those that can be re-educated, discard the trash which is plentiful as they have got used to this retarded mind set of working for the leadership, (even if it is corrupt rather than the party),  only if there are goodies and are  not focused on the interest of the party and nation building as a whole, it is a rapidly spreading disease" said the other gentleman a chubby well mannered person who goes by the name Bob. "God willing we will succeed this is going to be an uphill task but it must be done not only to save the race but to save the country" he continued, "and if that means destroying UMNO so be it, if we do not do it the Malays will lose everything, they are being taken down a bottomless pit  by UMNO through this greed and corrupt practices".

So, now we see Malays who are UMNO members willing to see their party fall for what they say is "the good the Race, the Nation and Islam." Hearing them talk with so much conviction is mind boggling, I met some of them before the last elections the mood was similar only that now it has reached fever pitch, they have taken it a few notches higher, because their efforts are producing results.

Before the last elections when I wrote about Muhyiddin's supporters calling for Najib's ouster I reported on what one Muar UMNO member said, I reprint it here;
......, "in those days the Malays never openly took sides, the listened quietly and gave their support, there was hardly a whisper, today they are not quiet anymore they are not even whispering, they are shouting on top of their voices, 'we're  fed up!!!' we have been betrayed for so long and this party has not only betrayed us they have stolen from us and other Malaysians, we'd rather vote the DAP.

This time it is getting louder and we can not only hear it  hear it.  we can  even see it, Mahathir is on the same side as the DAP.

"We are making Malays aware by the day, the last time we told you  Najib will fall, he did  and we believe he did, because he did not get the popular vote and by that token alone his legitimacy as the elected leader of the country can be challenged. This time around I am telling you Toffee, he is about to make history, he will become History." said Daud in his usual cool and collected manner and form the way he was looking at me I could tell he was serious, dead serious.

Johor is a gone case for the BN, Johor is not PAS country the people of Johor have always shunned PAS and they'll do so this time around too, so if Najib thinks he is going to make inroads with PAS he has read us wrong, he must accept the fact that Johor has fallen it is fallen even before the first vote is cast" said Daud.

"Well okay Johor is okay let's assume it is okay, let's assume what you are saying will come to pass, but what about the other states?" I ask

This other tall and mustached chap, fair skinned, looks at me and sighs, " hai ya, he says, you do not seem to understand do you?" he asks.

"Negri will fall, because the people of Negri are just fed up with the BN, one of its daughters is not their favorites she is seen as an insult to Malay culture and Malay wives, she bears the brunt of the discontent in the state, and she has now become the focal point of the Negri campaign. There are other reasons too, Md Isa being a very prominent reason ask any UMNO division head and he'll tell you if he is free to speak, but they all know how powerful his hold on Najib is, so no one will go as far as even whisper, they will say it at the ballot box" said my friend who accompanied me, Manap, he heard it from Negri boys.

Mahathir is drawing the UMNO crowds, they still love him, trust  him and believe in him, The PKR MPs still hold sway and so too does Mat Sabu and the other members of Parliament who are now with Amanah, the states of Penang and Selangor are rock solid and Perak is giving way, way to fast for UMNO's comfort, htat Najib has asked Zahid to lead the campaigns in that state.

We really do not have to talk about Penang, it is a foregone conclusion, the people of Sabah and Sarawak have been told to go take the money being given to them by Najib, and demand for more, but when it comes to the crunch to vote the BN out and it seems to be working. Najib had been booed out of Sabah and if that was not a sign of the times one wonders what is.

Today I am told that almost every household in Sabah is annoyed with the arrest  Shafie Apdal, it is an insultto Sabahans, they feel that the Federal Government in pursuing its own selfish objectives vicitmises true Sabahan leaders, if you doi not believe me pick up the phone and even call any Sabahan, even the Kadazans who are not Apdal's favourites will tell you so. Sabah is not having it any more, this move has backfired, it has angered Sabah and BN will receive the news from the ballot box for sure like they did a t the end of Harris Salleh's reign. The latest news that Shafie apdal has been admitted to Hospital for High Blood Pressure has got Sabahans really angry and worried, even the supporters fo the STAR the Sabah baed party are asking the MACC why Apdal, why not Najib?

For the Opposition this time the National focus is to on UMNO.

The MCA and the Gerakan have all but been wiped out over the last two General elections, this time around it is UMNO and that is more or less a foregone conclusion thanks to Najib and the "less intelligent" men of his cabinet and the even less intelligent members of Parliament from UMNO the game is all but over.

Mahathir Anwar Reconciliation Najib's Biggest Blow

The more they mock Mahathir the more they hurt the Malays, and more people jump ship, to make matters worse for Najib,  Mahathir and Anwar have reconciled, the Malays  recognized  the magnitude of the problems facing them with Najib,  when they witnessed this reconciliation. That
Reconciliation A very difficult move for both of them, but for the National good they did it.
these two men were willing to forget the past and rescue the nation was beyond belief, it was beyond anybody's wildebeest dreams, but now that it has happened it has brought the Malays to a realisation  that something really seriously is wrong with Najib and that the nation needs to be rescued, the Malays  are now rallying behind these two leaders.

Najib is vary of the score he is afraid,  he's even doubtful if he'd  call for elections come March, that will be a bit too soon he feels as there is so much to be done. Some observers say it depends on what he has in store at the budget, if it is full of goodies he'll call for the elections soon, if it is not he is expected to drag on till August 2018.

The goodies will not pull wool over the eyes of the people, the poor do not pay taxes, they are the majority of the voters, they will come out with a vengeance, this time and Najib seems to be the target of that frustration

The poor pay more for petrol, they pay more for rice, they pay more for vegetables , they pay more for school uniforms, they pay more for everything nd earn less than they did before because the buying power of their ringgit has depreciated and to make matters worse prices have gone up, so tax incentives is of no use, they now are forced to pay tax even with their lower wages GST.

The opposition in the meantime have got their game plan well settled, they are coming out in numbers, almost every seat will be contested, but the big contests are being prepared for in  Bagan Datoh, Bentong, Pekan\and  Sembrong, these seats are to be heavily contested. Work in Semborong is going on, on  a daily basis and this could be one of the the reasons why  our Minister  Defence has been rather quiet for some time now, but I think it is our Deputy Prime Minister who has more to be worried about this time around.
Big headache. Did he advice Malaysians about  obesity lately?

Do not be too surprised that Najib will decide to contest in Putrajaya to ensure his victory, the constituency is small, he can even afford to pay every voter in the constituency to ensure his victory, but on the other hand that is an educated electorate, as one Putrajya resident put it to me,

"The Malays of the next Generation those yet to be born will one day curse  and say we would have been a better nation had our stupid and greedy forefathers not betrayed our leaders for a few dollars more. The Malays of the generations to come will weep over the jailing of Anwar Ibrahim and the destruction of their nation, and they will blame their forefathers, that is u for their poverty."

Then he went to say, " In 30 years time Oil will be of n use, it's value will drop as the cars by the tiem will no longer use petrol, our own car industry will vanish we will import cars again. look at our development how far have we progressed. What have we invented and what have we produced on our own, we lack the ability to invent the government is bent on making people stupid so that they can rob us"

"When the price of petrol drops and we are reliant on importing technology what have we got and where are we headed? We will be worse than Bangladesh.  Will our children then shout Hidup UMNO!!! Hidup PAS at the top pf their voices?"

"What have been our own technological advances over the years, if our Oild money was saved and not wasted we'd have money to invest on other things as it is right now all our money has been stolen, and to balance the books we are borrowing huge amounts, who ends up paying, you me, your children my children and their children's children"

"It's time for UMNO members to shout Hidup Pencuri!!!"

The war behind the now shattered UMNO curtain.

UMNO has begun its usual power struggle in the midst of the run up to the next elections, this time the battle has taken and extraordinary twist with Najib actually planning the downfall of his deputy behind a smoke screen.

Dr. Mahathi's revelation that Zahid had met him, supposedly to seek his help in replacing Mr Najib as prime minister has actually got this move by Najib going.

The meeting according to Mahathir took place not long after  Zahid was appointed deputy prime minister following the sacking of  Muhyiddin Yassin in 2015. In fact by Zahid's own account it took place some 10 days after he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister.
Serious allegations of wanting to oust Najib

Following this allegations by Dr. Mahathir, Zahid has come out denying that he did it and in turn alleged that it was Mahathir who had suggested to him  that Najib be removed from power by a vote of No Confidence, and if that failed Mahathir  would approach the Council of leaders to have the premier step down.

According to Mahathir, Zahid had asked that he be made premier when Najib step down, to which Mahathir had told him "it’s not necessary that he becomes the prime minister, because Umno has the right to choose who replaces Najib."

Zahid has come out vehemently denying any such thing and even alleging he had the whole conversation taped which he has not  produced to date so is he telling the truth?

Was his threat to expose the tape a diversion to get  the UMNO members (who will believe anything they want to believe)  to take what Mahthir alleged lightly?

It could be so and even if it was so, it seems to have worked its magic, or has it?

On the surface it has,  when officiating the Shah Alam Umno division delegates’ meeting on August 6, 2017,  Najib came out openly and said, "Zahid and I have known each other for long, since 1986.
"It's not only money that talks" - A concrete statement
is not just my loyal deputy, but also my friend who is always beside me in good times and bad times, it does not make sense for my deputy to want to overthrow me,  not possible and not true. It is complete slander, let us not linger on this issue. Have faith in the strong Umno leadership. And I will continue to have confidence in Zahid. End of story", but was it really the end of story?

Not so,  according to certain groups within UMNO, "Najib is known to hit you hardest when you are least prepared and that is exactly what he plans to do with Zahid"  said one source close to Hishamuddin.

"Najib can't afford a Deputy who may offer him as the Bull for Korban,  (sacrificial  bull) should he lose the elections to the new government,  to answer the countless allegations made out against him, his wife and family".

The looming threat to Zahid's position
"If those allegations are proven the law will really come down hard on Najib and his family as the allegations are not just for petty theft but for criminal wrongdoings which even include murder and grand Larceny, and for a man (Zahid) who may have colluded with his enemies and is ambitious to the point he may sell anybody they way he did Muhyiddin to take the deputy's position Najib knows that Zahid can be extremely dangerous," said a senior UMNO division leader of a significant UMNO division.

Why then is Najib still maintaining Zahid? I ask

"To kill him slowly so he does not disrupt anything and make him believe he is still Najib's most trusted aide.  that is why  he made go to the UN and expose his uselessness as a top minister in the cabinet, that is the slow killing process," and he laughs.

That UN visit was purposely planned to allow Zahid make an international fool of himself, he could have chosen his cousin  and closest confidante, the "not so intelligent" Hishamuddin Hussein Onn, the grandson of the founder of UMNO who is more eloquent and could have delivered a well prepared speech to the United Nations even better than Najib himself could. Hishamuddin had displayed his fluency in English and good presentation skills when addressing the international press
Allowed by Najib to shoot himself in the foot
following the disappearance of MH370, a position Najib dared not assume.

Whilst allowing Zahid to slowly self destruct he is tacitly moving Hishamuddin to the more prominent position of his anointed successor. To write off Zahid openly is to seek trouble, as Zahid has a considerable grass root base and to move him out will only anger his support base and weaken UMNO, he is not prepared for that yet, but he is preparing for it at the right moment.

Najib  is expected to reveal to a select group of the supreme council the actual date fo the next elections, his line up for  that elections and the changes to be made in the selection this time. It is likely that Zahid is to be placed on one of UMNO's more difficult seats, but that has yet to be confirmed.

In the meantime Hishamuddin has been very quiet, he is seen as preparing to take over from Najib soon as the talk in some UMNO circles is that Najib will give up his position and leave the country probably for good.

Well Najib is not spoilt for choices for countries he can seek refuge in,  Khazakstan is certainly a safe heaven for the time being and so too are Saudi Arabia and Turkey so where will he go, if there is any truth in this talk, and when he does that Hisahmuddin  take over as Hishamuddin will ensure his safe exit from the country.

In the meantime the daggers are being sharpened in all the other corners of UMNO, the membership including many senior supreme council members smell blood.

Nazri is working hard to strengthen his position in UMNO, he wants to ensure that he will land the position of Vice President with the largest majority and in that quest has thrown his support for the UMNO Red Shrit leader Jamal Yunos in his quest to wrset the position of UMNO Youth Chief.
Vying VP position whilst trying to oust Kjairy

It is not too silly a move as most UMNO Youth Leaders came from people who were then labelled extremists and Jamal is no exception only that he has taken it that notch higher then  Krishamuddin if you remember and the Keris.

The Nazri camp are expected to throw their weight behind Zahid and Najib is vary of this as he can't anger this groups as well it will have serious  repercussions on UMNO's  bid to wrest Putrajaya and the escapade can only take place if  they retain power.

To put it simply UMNO is in a mess, I said this much earlier when I objected to Najib becoming the PM before clearing his name of the alleged murder of Altantuya Shaaribu,   I warned then that the whole system will be compromised if the top leader is compromised and that is exactly what has and is happening.

Najib has not come out openly to condemn the atrocities being committed in the country by almost any Ahmad, Din or Jamal.

The Launderette issue is one, the racist and extremist preacher  Zamihan Mat Zin, Jamal Yunos who was made a Datuk on the recommendation of the Najib Government, Najibs's own call to UMNO members to emulate ISIL if you remember, the Police Cheiefs saying one thing and others in Government contraindicating them all poin tto fact that the Government ahs been compromised, there are no rules anyone who has some authority can make rules and that too new rules they think fit, not only is UMNO in a mess the government is in a mess and the country is in a mess.

Now is it a wonder why foreigners choose not to invest in Malaysia,? Except for China of course they are purchasing Malaysia wih huge amounts of cash and it seems like it is going inot individual pockets, for which the people of Malaysia will ahve to repay China for generations to come and may never be able to free itself of that bondage.

UMNO members do not have the mental capacity to see this, they do not even know what is happening to the country, although they soften say "Tanah Air Ku" and believe me the only original words in the language are "Tanah Air" and yet they do not know what is happening to our beloved Tanah Air.

The time is coming for the great shift, Najib is  having sleepless  nights, he has options but is wondering if he can use it, he may have the authority to do so, but will the people allow him to?

Well for one he can declare emergency unilaterally and take over the country and become its first supreme dictator.

I am sure that has crossed his mind and he is considering it seriously, he has the excuses, he will use Islamic state as the main excuse to do that, because without that he has no other option, the Malays have got fed up. many have deserted UMNO they know the country is in peril, those who remain are foolishly led by the PAS agenda and their own selfish gains,  which he now plans to use help him and that is, Islam is being threatened.

Surely the Launderette issue, the outbursts by the racist and extremist preacher  Zamihan Mat Zin cannot be coincidental, it is all well planned, they expected the opposition to fall for it and come out condemning it, had that happened they would have used the full force of the JAKIM and PAS machinery to condemn the opposition as being a threat to Islam and the Malays, it did not work.

In the face of all this Najib is in a quandary?

Ask him when is the next elections, and he'll say I have not decided yet?

And believe me this will be about oe of the first truths he will tell.

UMNO is in a mess and only a miracle can stop its split. With it's alliance now with PAS, what is MIC and MCA saying.

The BN rules specify that there must be consensus of all parties to admit any other party into the BN?
Have all the other parties especially the MCA, the MIC and Gerakan agreed to this?

We are yet to hear from the other BN component parties.

UMNO members are going to be angered when they lose their opportunity to contest as PAS takes their seats.
