Malaysia has had Bangala workers since the nineties when they were introduced into the country by Megat Junid the then deputy home Minister and since then they have been the source of illicit incomes for unscrupulous agents and employers alike.

Mother Nature fights back in the Camerons

I remember in the late  nineties or the very early 20's in a speech at a special Immigration forum with employers, the then Director General of Immigration, Datuk Aseh Che Mat said the government was stopping the intake of Bangladeshi workers and when some HR Managers kept asking him for Bangla workers he told the managers we could not allow Bangladeshi workers into the country because they were causing social problems by marrying Malay girls.

Soon after he left back came the Bangladeshis, back like a storm.

Bangladeshi workers were in high demand in Cameron Highlands because of many reasons, the sum total of which meant it made good economic sense to the employer. If there were illegal Bangladeshis in Cameron Highlands it was because there were unscrupulous employers willing to employ them even though they were illegal.

To examine this closely we have to understand what constitutes an illegal worker, in immigration terms.

An illegal worker is a person who has entered the country illegally and gets himself employed, or

a person who has entered the country on a student pass for the purpose of pursuing further education or any kind of education for which he has been given a student pass  and who instead abandons his studies and gets employed in Malaysia, or,

a person who enters the country as a tourist or under any other pretext and is not allowed by the conditions of his visa to be gainfully employed in the country during his stay in the country but, goes ahead instead and finds gainful employment or,

a worker who has been employed by an organization under an employment pass issued by the immigration department, (these passes are either issued in the name of a specific employer or an agent who is authorized by the Ministry of home affairs to outsource these workers to employers and in this case the agent is considered the employer).

and who leaves the employer under whose organisation his employment pass is issued, and takes up employment with an employer not authorized to do so by the conditions on his employment pass.

All  the above constitute illegal workers, now if there were more than 30,000 illegal workers on hill resort as small as Cameron Highlands how come the authorities were not  aware of it were they sleeping?

As long as the going was good the Bangla worker was good, once mother nature took her course in the highlands the finger pointing began, till it ended with the Bangla.

Now we all know this is  because some irresponsible people allowed some greedy businessmen to go about and find ways to clear large tracts of land unabated for farming without any concern of the environmental effects it would have in the highlands they carried on even though the were warned long before hand of the rising temperatures and earlier floods in the highlands till this mud slide took lives and destroyed property and all hell broke loose, the finger pointing began.

The deputy PM had come out with an assurance that it did not matter who it is the government would take action, and Malaysians were waiting to see what would happen.

After all, all land deals come under the State Government, and that means the Menteri Besar has to give answers, he did, and his excuse was that if the state did not allow it they would be blamed for not caring about the less fortunate. Now were these farmers who employed so many Bangladeshis less fortunate or poor farmers, that they could splash out the funds required to clear land employ these workers and carry out farming on such huge scales?

How did the Bangla worker become responsible that today like at no time in our history, and  since the advent of the immigrant worker - from the time the advent of the Chinese tin mine workers, to the Indian Estate labourer to the Java Contra (remember we had contract workers from Java who the Malays used to refer to as "Java Contra" or "Javarek" who were notably hardworking and productive and  are now citizens of this country and bumiputras too) have we seen such an operation by the Police and the Armed forces to flush out these Banglas from Cameron Highlands and carry out night operations and hunt them down.

Has this country lost its soul? Is there no such thing as compassion? Have we not benefited from the work of these workers who actually toiled to make sure we had sufficient supply of vegetables for our daily needs, who literally put food on our tables that today in search of a scapegoat we have found it fit to go after these helpless boys?

Imagine your children in another 50 years, driven by circumstances to go out and find employment in foreign lands and being treated such, it is not an impossibility it is rather highly likely given the way this government is now administering this nation.

The Philippines and Myanmar were at one time at par and in fact even better off than the then Malaya. See what has happened there,and history of these countries in the ASEAN can actually be a good teacher. In the Philippines it was corruption, outright corruption by the government and the heads of government that put that country into the miserable position it is in today, but as the Philippines and Myanmar pull themselves out of the rut as Indonesia shows some classic examples of reform, where Presidents lead by example they all seem to coming out whist we continue to sink with these irresponsible acts.

We seem to lack accountability , we seem to lack responsibility and most of all we are glaringly lacking in the most important ingredient integrity.

What has the immigration department been doing, how come there are thousands of Banglas up the highlands that they almost equal the number of Malaysian sand the Immigration is not aware of it, there can be n excuse, the police should have kept them informed, both the Police and the Immigration department come under the same minister- the minister of home affairs.

What was the state government doing was it not aware? Well almost everyone who went up the highlands in at least the last five years noticed the clearings, NGOs and concerned people voiced their concerns, but were given a deaf year and now with this fiasco we have our beloved Prime Minster coming to solve the problem his way - "make the Bangla the scapegoat."

The MP for Cameron Highlands has said in a statement in facebook,  "I have raised the issue of Cameron Highlands many times to PM as well at cabinet meetings, both as MP as well as Minister of NRE in the one and half years I was elected as MP for Cameron Highlands and subsequently appointed as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. Is Datuk Palanivel MP for Pahang telling us this happened because the PM did not act?

This is indeed sad to see how low this nation has stooped, to save the high and mighty and not to not hold them accountable but rather  go for the people who are least able to defend themselves, and put a mighty show of it, after which those really responsible will be left off the hook. How many times have we witnessed this,and how many more times are we to witness this?

Why has it to be the Bangla? Are they the only foreign workers up the highlands? Are they the businessmen who cleared the land for their own purpose?

The answer in all probability also lies with the Bangla government who is so preoccupied with its own internal politics it has no time for its sons begin hounded here like dogs. Where is the Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Malaysia.

This really calls for a Royal Commission of inquiry for once I am in agreement with the Utusan on the issue of the RCI, we need to come out of this state of denial, lies and corruption, if it is a Minister get him, if it is the MP get him and if it is the Menteri Besar get him as well, the question is.


Unless and until we really investigate this case very transparently  this may very well bean issue that is swept under the carpet as usual.

Is this government brave enough to do that?

Putting Strategy in place

Well if you hadn't noticed it yet the battle lines have been drawn, it is the same darn thing all over again,and it will be played in the same way, although behind the scenes Muhyiddin giggles, he is feeling on top of the world because and like Najib with Badawi,  he does not have to lift  finger.

Mahathir Mohammed is again the king maker and the king breaker, he put Badawi up there and he got rid of him, he placed Najib up there and he will now remove him too, he can't wait, he is wasting precious time, and the time if lost will cost him and his family greatly.

He has begun delivering his sermons of  fear all around, he is making sure to drive home the point that Najib is ruining the country and in saying that very few will disagree with him for sure, he and  his favorite adopted daughter - Sharizat are  stepping up the ante, he has got Mukhriz to keep very quiet and maintaian a low profile, Muhyiddin is playing his part very well and has used the Cameron Highlands mud slides and the illegal farms  to go for Adnan Yaakob the menteri besar of Pahang,a  direct affront to Najib who is from that state and has the MB as a staunch supporter.

It's His Turn

Mahathir has already called for the the ouster of the Head of Selangor UMNO and that is the PM himself, he has said that if the leadership is not changed Selangor will be lost again in  the next General elections. He has described the Selangor UMNO as out of touch and not trusted by the people of Selangor. He has openly said that Selangor UMNO is corrupt and he is sure they will lose if Najib remains at the helm, so sure some sources say he will make sure one way or the other to prove his point.

Najib as usual remains quiet, he takes his wife to world meets and let's her steal the limelight off him, she is the target of all UMNO members who are against Najib and it is said she will be an issue at the next General assembly, and it will be raised by the wanita and the youth. Certain segments of the youth are now being shifted to show that they are pro-Najib when they are actually Mukhriz supporters, they will raise the issue of Rosmah during  the youth meeting claiming she is undermining the elected officials of UMNO and elected representatives giving specific incidents.

At the General assembly there is no use guessing Najib will have a tough time warding off the attacks

What more to ask

against him, they are expecting such an upheavel one UMNO member said it will be worse than a DAP attack on the PM by his own party and using the DAP to describe such a situation is taboo in UMNO and all UMNO members know that.

Najib of course will not quit, Johor UMNO is expected to raise the war cry and they will be funded by top Johor brass, the MB of Johor has put the mechanisms in place to ensure that funds are sufficient for this adn it will flow in as and whne required. The question is; will  Najib dare  go back to the National coffers to raise funds for his campaign?

Not likely, says one UMNO man who is in the ministry of finance he has already done irrepairable  damage he can't afford it, "if he does Mahahtir will have the fire to burn him alive," said the source.

Muhydiddin has to go for the post and he will appoint Hishamuddin to replace  him and in so doing strengthen Mukhriz chance for one of the VP positions, in fact Mukhriz will be appointed there just like Hishamuddin will be appointed the Deputy President of UMNO. The scenario is reminiscent of the moves Hussein Onn played when he moved Mahathir over Razaleigh, Musa and the rest to Deputy PM.

The financial situation in the country is expected to make both Muhyiddin and Hisham the shortest serving PM's in Malaysian history if they ever get to be PM's.

A History of being the stop gap

Mahahtir is not ready to lose the next elections to achieve his dreams  he is bent on burying Najib before he does just that, An UMNO loss will ruin the succession plan Mahathir has in mind surely spell the death knell of his UMNO Baru.

How do the people see it?

Well they like the fight,  they prefer if Najib stays on and does not give in to Mahathir, not that they love him but rather that  they abhor him.

Then why keep him?

They believe Mahathir, he says,  if Najib remains,  the BN will be kicked out and UMNO will be turned into a toothless tiger.

Why is that so some ask?

Well the people dislike UMNO remember the majority of Malaysians voted against the BN, they lost the popular vote many a Malay voted against UMNO and UMNO has to accept that as a fact they lost even in their strongholds. The Chinese have long been voting the opposition it was because the Malys joined them in 2008 and 2013 that they felt the wrath of the people.  UMNO does not want to make matters worse so instead of blaming the Malays who voted against them, in true UMNO fashion they  pick the "bogeyman" and the Chinese have been their faithful "bogeyman" all the while, except that now the Malays have got wiser and UMNO can't fool them like they always do.

Waiting for Daddy's command

Since  that last elections,with all the controversies created by UMNO itself many of their ardent supporters have actually jumped ship, with some even going to the DAP, something people never dreamed possible even five years ago, that is biggest blow UMNO is now facing,  the winds of change are  a blowing, the younger better educated and better informed Malay many of whom are children of UMNO stalwarts are now rejecting UMNO, and even showing their parents the way. DAP can't bemade the bogeyman either anymore these are tough lessons for UMNO to learn.

So if Najib stays he the BN and UMNO will  be kicked out at the next GE, and his own people will make sure of  that,  and if that happens even Mahathir's henchmen get kicked out as a result of the fall of UMNO.

So the rationale is why kick Najib out just to win the battle and lose the war, instead of killing the  two idiots with one stone.

Mahathri will be very determined he knows that too, the stakes are too high, he'll try every move in the book and from the bush, he is good at bushwhacking,  to  make sure that either before for after the next UMNO General Assembly Najib is out in good time before the next General elections.

Let the war begin. Najib was there when it was Badawi's turn.

Malaysiakini reported that " An Umno division leader has called on all races, especially the Chinese, to emulate the Malays who are patient and willing to compromise."

The report went on to say he said,  “The Chinese must understand that Malays are ‘tuan’ (masters) in this country, they must also understand that it is because the Malays are willing to compromise that they (the Chinese) can carry out all sorts of activities, especially in the business sector,”

Go tell this to the millions of Malays you have fooled all this while, many who do not even have enough to put a shirt on their back, and the nest time you talk please differentiate between Malay and UMNOputera.

Syed Ali You are an idiot, for an UMNO division head without any knowledge of your own history you are a confounded fool.

The late Tun Dr. Islmail likened the NEP to a handicap which “will enable them to be good players, as in golf, and in time the handicap will be removed. The Malays must not think of these privileges as permanent: for then, they will not put effort into their tasks. In fact, it is an insult for the Malays to be getting these privileges.”


What Bloody "patience" is this Syed Ali talking about, he is a Malay of convenience, calling himself a Malay sometimes and an Arab at other times, it is the other races and the poor betrayed Malays,  who have been patient with UMNO and he has to understand and accept it, because that is the truth the plain truth and nothing but the truth.

The Malays are not ethnic people in Malaysia the Dayaks the Ibans the Orang Asli are the ethnic people of this country if there are to be privileges it is for them and not the UMNOputera, what is he talking about Ketuanan?  The Malays got the privilege because of what Tun Dr. Ismail rightfully called the "handicap"  the UMNOputras shoudl be grateful for all they got at the expense of the real natives and the Malays they shortchanged.

It was the non Malays who were patient all this time to allow the Malays and the Bumiputeras  special privileges now he seems to be taking it over his head and he is talking about "Ketuanan" superior race?  He doesn't realise that he is stepping into the shoes of Nazism and Hitler and that to is not acceptable in our world.

This idiot who lives in his own cocoon is no ordinary person, he is an UMNO division Chief and we all know what that carries.

We have to keep this piece it has gone unchecked by the UMNO supreme council and it amounts to an admission that the UMNO led government is an Apartheid government. Strangely enough the white majority government at the time of apartheid had a membership of many groups who worshiped Hitler and said the very same things this man is saying.

Apartheid is outlawed, South Africa had to pay a big price for the apartheid regime and  the Tengku was one of those  who initiated the sacking of South Africa from the Commonwealth for that system of government and the breaking off  of trade relations with South Africa.

Nazism we sacked it, Humanity sacked it from this world but it now seems to be rearing its ugly head via UMNO.

These facts have to be taken to the world stage, we must let the world know our plight before these people do more damage. We have to address this at the UN where the Malaysian Prime Minster paints a very different story.

UMNO needs to be eradicated,  it is not the original party founded by Onn Jaffar it is UMNO Baru of Mahathir built on this principle of "Ketuanan Melayu" it is  a Fascist party.

Way back in 1969 when he was a candidate for election in Kedah he told the Chinese in his constituency not to vote for him as he would not be representing them in Parliament, at that same time he came out with this idea of ketuanan Melayu, saying that "citizenship given to Malaysians of other races was given only with the consent of the Malay,"  and he went on further to add that that "consent could be withdrawn" that was the birth of this idea of "Ketuanan Melayu" by a Malaysian of  Indian origin who would later claim he is Malay, Mahathir.

At a time when there was a high level of unemployment he hired Chinese Driver not because there were no Malays around but to show the world that a Chinese was his driver, he was sending the Malaysians a message of the "Ketuanan Melayu" and in the process deprived more deserving Malays of the job,  that  did not matter to him - his ego did.

That is Mahathir and that is where this "ketuanan" came from, he founded UMNO baru and it is now implanted in the mindset of the UMNOputras.

Let us get this straight we are all Malaysians just like Mahathir Mohammed himself, and this semi Arab Syed Ali, who'll call himself an Arab when it suits him and a Malay at other times, they are all children of immigrants just like us.


Mahathir has his origins in Kerala that is where is father comes from, and this Syed probably in the slums of Somalia, and they call themselves Melayu, it was not they who were patient it was the other communities who were patient all this while, allowing them the special privileges.

If Mahathir is entitled to all those privileges I'd like to ask why my childrenand grand children can't.

I was born in this country my parents both arrived from India and were citizens just like Mahathir's dad. I married a Chinese whose father was born in Malaysia, who had a Malayan Birth Certificate,
and who was a citizen by operation of law, that means she does no have a citizenship certificate, because she is a citizen by operation of  law, now what does that make my children, are they not entitled to better rights than Mahathir Mohammed?

Anyway we are nt the type of people who like to ask for special privileges, we prefer to get what we deserve for the efforts we put in, we do not want to deprive others of anything just because UMNO did it, we are different, quite different, to us all men are created equal.

It is time we stood up and said times up, no more privileges for UMNOputras, what they  stole from the allocations to the Malays and other bumiputeras need to be accounted for and returned, and  Malaysia for Malaysians.

The author of the blog " Zorro Unmasked," Bernard Khoo  passed away yesterday.

Bernard began his career as a Christian Brother  with the de La Salle Brothers , he taught at the La Salle School in Klang in the late sixties, he was then known as Brother Arnold,  he left the brotherhood later.

In the mid seventies he joined Texas Instruments as a member of the Human Resource team then know as the Personnel Department as Personnel Manager, and later moved to Goodyear tires to head the Training department there.

Bernard would later join the man who took him into Human Resources Latif Sheer Mohammed in his consultancy SMPD  Consultants where he remained till  he retired.

An active blogger Bernard always encouraged me to continue writing.

To his wife and Children  my deepest condolences.

Those who wish to pay their last respects to the late  Bernard Khoo may do so at PaRlour 1 of St.Ignatius Church, Petaling Jaya on the 5th and 6th of April.

These are people who were part of the system, they know how Mahathir worked and how he is even now currently working to ensure that Anwar does not become the next PM, because he knows that if it does happen he is going to be answerable for a lot of things.

UMNO is still in the claws of Mahathirism, which is a philosophy aligned to Nazism and we all know what the Nazis were capable of. Mahathir has shown more than once, by his words and his deeds that he actually admired the Nazis.

“Unfortunately the manner in which this was handled after the first few days was clearly suspect,” he said. “One fact remains. Clearly information critical to our understanding is deemed missing.

“I believe the government knows more than us. They have the authority to instruct the air force … or Malaysia Airlines. They are privy to most of these missing bits of information critical to our understanding of this mysterious disappearance of MH370.”

MORE LIES

We were promised that fuel prices would come down if the BN won the last elections, we were promise that toll rates will be reduced after the last elections, we were promised that car prices would be reduced after the last elections if the BN won.

What did we get in return, they wanted to bring up the toll rates but stopped short when their won MPs protested, the price of petrol keeps spiraling although we are a net producer of premium oil (Light sweet crude).

We are to be slapped with GST next year and why because the country can;t afford it anymore, there is all the corruption Billions in each case have been lost and the guilty still holding on to positions of power.

What a shame when Hishamuddin told the press, that we would even have to conduct underwater search involving submarines, than quickly said, "before you ask let me tell you that our submarines do not have that capability.

Our submarines were the cause of losing billions, RM500 million alone to a consultancy that had no experience even in ordinary boats leave alone submarines and one of whose directors was the wife of our Prime Minister who was then at the material time the Minister of Defence.

There is a litany of corruption scandals almost all in which those responsible were let off scot free, and today because of all that the Malaysian Public has to pay.


Now can we trust our government?

THE VIEW OF THE OF THE FAMILIES OF MH370 

To say that most of the families of the passengers on MH 370 do not trust what the Malaysian government is saying is an understatement. 

The majority of the passengers on the plane were Chinese,and the majority of the Chinese do not trust the government.

A good number of the others Malaysians included do not trust what the government says, including current staff of the airlines and family members of the crew a random check with some employees at MAS have proven that the staff do not trust what the Government is saying.

Sarah Bjac an economist whose partner Philip Wood was among the passengers refuses to believe that here loved one is dead.

A freelance reporter Jim Stone has claimed that Mr.Wood managed to send out an image, a voice activated text and GPS coordinates that traced the phone to a location a few kilometers away from Diego  Garcia the American Armed forces base in the Indian Ocean nto very far from where the current search is being conducted.

Whist the photograph sent via iPhone revealed nothing as is was blank, the text claimed that he was being held hostage by unknown military personnel.

Thsi resulted in speculation that the MH370 had landed on th eAmerican Basse of Diego Garcia, and this was further fuelled as experts reportedly found Diego Garcia's runway among those Captain Zaharie had sued for practice landings on his flight stimulator.

In an interview with sky TV Phillip Wood's partner Sarah Bajc said she did not believe that her husband is dead, she said that from what we knwo so far from the authorities there is, "too much incompetence for it to be incompetent," and that there seemed to be, "active deception" in the reports by the authorities and so unless there is real physical prove that Phillip is dead she will not believe it.

Could Sarah Bajc be the receipant of the message from Phillip Wood.

To our Honourable Minister of Transport, 

Dato Seri Hishamuddin Hussein Onn, 

Please Dato Seri clarify this for the families of those on board MH370, and all concerned peoples who have not stopped praying to find out what happened.

It has been stated over and over again by the chief of MAS that the Lithium batteries were packed and sent "according to procedures," but after having gone through the IATA Lithium Battery Guidance document I see one very glaring item that is of grave concern regarding the shipment of these batteries.

If that was a mistake we should admit it and move on if it isn't and if it was alright to ship these batteries then the MAS chief should lend clarity to his statements, not justt say we packed it according procedures set by IATA/ICAO, as this question has been asked severla times and I am of the opinion it is being followed by the press.
 

The Malaysiakini reported in its article 

"Australians upbeat search will yield results" 
reported as follows;
"MAS in a statement says the lithium-ion batteries that were part of the flight's cargo complied with standards.
"The lithium-ion batteries carried onboard MH370 on March 8 were in compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) requirements where it is classified as Non Dangerous Goods," it said."

Now let us view what the regulations says;  Please note what is in red, below in the regulations quoted.

(b) classification (DGR 3.9.2.6);

(c) limits on the net quantity of lithium batteries per package (DGR 4.2 and

applicable packing instruction);

(d) UN specification packaging(applicable packing instruction, see also DGRSection 6);

 

Note:

UN specification packaging does not apply to PI 967 and PI 970

 

(e)marking and labelling of packages (DGR Section 7)

 

Note:

packages must not bear the lithium battery handling label, only the

Class 9 hazard label and Cargo Aircraft Only label, when applicable, must be

applied. If packages are assembled into an overpack the requirements for

overpacks in DGR 7.1.4 and 7.2.7 apply

 

The only when applicable needs the clarification.

 

Why was this cargo put on a passenger plane if not, because from my understanding this was not cargo that is applicable? 

 

Was it subject to any waivers or exceptions if so what were these  and where in this document can we find it?

MH370 - Before the Blackbox is found - It is a Hijack by all Accounts

Before the black box is found let us be sure of one thing that the disappearance of this plane with innocent people on board was a hijack and nothing less.

You can have a motive for a Hijack but that is something no one has to tell you about, or the motive which is only known to a handful of people who in turn  may be compromised should they  come out and reveal the motives.

This  is a hijack that went sour, or it was a Hijack which saw a battle in the sky between the Pilot his crew and the hijackers at large.

So who were the hijackers.

You'll know pretty well that the masterminds behind the Bali Bombings were Malaysians they were well educated Malaysians - one the teacher and the other a pupil and together formed the most formidable team of terrorists in Indonesia and in fact the region, even some of the hijackers of the
9/11 planes spent some time in Malaysia doing their homework and after the initial attack the then Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohammed sounded sympathetic to their cause and it was only after George Bush II decided to sound very intimidating did he slyly creep into his shell and change his position.

This same man Mahathir Mohammed, has fanned the fires of Islamic and Malay extremism in Malaysia using a NGO of which he is patron called PERKASA headed by an ex "political had been" - Ibrahim Ali whom he despised during the time he was PM.

Since the missing of this plane these two extremists have been extra quiet, and too quiet for comfort.

One would have expected Ibrahim Ali to come out ether in support or to condemn the Bomoh (Shaman) who claimed to offer his services at the request of a very important Malay personality and two days after  that claim,   he  performed certain rituals  at  the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in the full view of the press which included sitting on a "magic carpet," of sorts to find out what happened to the plane.

He very successfully made Malaysia the laughing stock of the world.

The very next day in the face of so much criticism and after having been made the laughing stock of the whole world  Malaysia's Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin an "Oxford graduate" tweeted, "Somebody should arrest those magic carpet bomohs. Memalukan (embarassing)," he
tweeted proving that he too was on the list of Malaysian clowns and showing the entire world how efficiently Malaysian Ministers work, it took him two long days to make a response, when in fact he was actully intimidated by this man who is referred to as "Raja Bomoh,"  (Royal Shaman).

The Shaman replied, "This boy who just became a minister should not seek publicity using me. Let me do my work (to locate the plane). Don't classify what I do as haram (forbidden in Islam)"

I shall not dwell on the entirety of his statement except for the first part,  "This boy who just became a minister should not seek publicity using me." and say he was probably right. The Shaman I mean.

Khairy is  small boy in politics, he would not know of the days during the time of his boss's (Najib Tun Razak) father as Prime Minister of Malaysia in the early seventies, the UMNO backed Malaysian government actually used the official Bomoh to stop the rains when Malaysia experienced floods and  to the ire of the Malayan and Singapore Students (MASS) movement in London who carried an article in its paper "Suara Merdeka" that had its headlines as follows, "MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT

Getting back to Ibrahim Ali the man who once threatened to burn Bibles one wonders why  he did not take even take  offence to the call by Government, its  agencies and the Government backed media calling on all Malaysians to "pray for MH370?"

One would have expected it, from the likes of him and his mentor Mahathir Mohammed, that was sacrilegious to the less intelligent like him. How could Muslims pray with non Muslims, when even using the word Allah is forbidden, moreover many of  its passengers and crew,  were Muslims, and in his book and if you follow his logic we can't pray for Muslims, although we do almost everyday   There were also  Buddhists  some Christians, and even Hindus and how could you ask Muslims to pray for them, if you ask Mahahtir and Ibrahim I am sure they'll tell you it will confuse the Muslims in this country.

Now knowing Ibrahim Ali's psyche he should have come out and rebuked press statements asking others to not to pray for Muslims, and he should have been backed by his patron when that was done, but here in Malaysia for once there was an eerie silence from these two extremists. PERKASA DID NOT EXIST IN THIS PERIOD BECAUSE THE INTERNATIONAL PRESS IS HERE AND MAHATHIR  AND THIS GOVERNMENT UNDERSTANDS THE CONSEQUENCES.

They must have been warned  by the Malaysian government, PERKASA has the tacit backing of UMNO and this was proven at the last elections, UMNO the dominant Malay party in the country that has the PM as its president did not contest in the constituency where he stood as  candidate, one of his strongest supporters was fielded as and UMNO candidate in the State of Selangor, both  were unable to secure their seats.

Why this eerie silence? Probably  because when they open their mouths they'd reveal a lot of what they should not and the world will knwo the nonsense and the intimidation they give the other Malaysians, they will expose the apartheid part of Malaysia.

So the question now is, did the Malaysians know what happened to flight MH370?

The majority of Malaysians are guessing and so clearly they do not know, but not all Malaysians at  large, I believe  the Prime Minsiter and his closer inner circle knows or have a good idea of what is happening and are not telling. To quote the Acting Transport Minister who is the Defense Minister and the cousin of the Prime Minister, "there are somethings I can tell you, and there are somethings I can't tell you," when speaking to the press in the early days of this tragedy.

It was abundantly clear in the news conference when the Acting Minister of Transport who is also  Minister of Defence was asked to confirm the report made by the Chief of the Air force forces in his presence at a prior Press conference beamed over the world, that the army radar had tracked the airplane flying over the peninsular and heading towards the direction of the Andaman Islands he just looked over his shoulder to the Chief of the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA)

The Acting Minister directed the reply to the Chief of the DCA who instead of answering the question talked about American radar detection of the same, the reporter went back to him again and he side stepped the question again.

The issue here is the real issue of MH370, if there was an unidentified flying object over Malaysian waters and more so in Malaysian Air Space, the duty of the authorities would have been to ask the plane to identify itself failing which the Royal Malaysian Air Force should have scrambled its jets to guide the plane to the airport.

This was not done most probably because the officers and men who were supposed to do this were sleeping, or because they knew that something aboard the plane was amiss and if they tried going for it, it would endanger the lives of the passengers, or the more likely possibility was they were instructed not to do anything.

The fact that the pilot turned the plane and came into Malaysian air space and shut off all communications clearly indicates that he was trying to give the ground control a signal that something was amiss, he may have wanted the RMAF to scramble, they have planes in the north close to where he was and why did they not scramble and confront the plane?

This is the negligence and the incompetence that lost MH370 and this is the incompetence of  the Minister of Defence, the Prime Minsiter, and the Chief of the Armed forces and the Chief of the Air Force.

They should be held responsible and accountable the armed forces personnel here should be court martialed and that is the only logical step. The Prime Minster and the Minisiter of Defence must be held accountable. The PM should resign and the Defence Minster sacked before he makes that move to resign.

I said the plane was hijacked and I'll stand by my story, in such cases we only work by the balance of probabilities and it weighs heavily on a Hijack they had all the elements on board.

We know from the Bali bombings that high level professionals now make up the terrorists, if this Pilot intended to blow up this plane he'd have taken it to Putra Jaya and crashed it on the official residence of the PM, he has been portrayed as  pro Anwar fanatic, and if that was the case that is exactly what he would have done, but why did he take the flight all the way down South the Indian Ocean.

His co pilot was a young man, adventurous and a typical young man who behaves like most young men do. His father can be a BN supporter in fact I am told he is,  but what has that got to do with this case. If the ministers can't understand that they have a lot of growing up to do. What about the issue of Nazri's son, what about the various stories of Ministers children some which are in circulation on the net. For goodness sake Najib and/Company grow up.

Now they say that the chap who said 'Good night' was this young Pilot. What are they trying to imply? Why did he say that and not the usual "roger" and all that jazz. He like the main pilot was trying to draw the attention of the authorities, but we have dumb fools on the ground and they did not get it they did not react in time, all this is after thought, they were crying out loud,  "come get us, you idiots come get us!!"

When something is wrong with a plane in the air with 239 people on board it is the job of the people on the ground to react as soon as they find something amiss or something wrong but that failed to happen so now we are looking at the skies for excuses and we have found two innocent gentlemen to take the rap.

I am told by some air traffic people that they were waiting for the plane to land in Beijing, even Beijing I suppose was not informed about the status of this plane and it is only after they failed to land on schedule and when it was delayed by more than half an hour that Beijing was informed.

The Acting Minster of transport was in Janda Baik for his  weekend I suppose,  he was informed in the early hours of the morning but took his own time to get to the airport. Two hundred and thirty nine lives did not mean that much at that time , I guess it is now that he sees the magnitude of the problem and the beating his image and that of his cousin is taking the world over, two circus clowns would have done better. My apologies to circus clowns you are far better.

So who were the hijackers?

I reckon it must be a person with tertiary qualifications, has reasons to align with a terror  organization, , has a cause that he is willing to die for and is willing to pursue that cause.

The plane had three people who fit the image I'll let Interpol tell you about it if they are competent enough.

A terrorist is never going to come stand in front of you put his hand up and say, 'Sir!, I am a terrorist." A terrorist  will not  look like a terrorist, and you'll not suspect him at all unless he has had a record.

Two chaps boarded a plane with  false passports they are prime suspects because going to Europe from Malaysia would have been cheaper but they took the route via China. Would they have had Uighur or

Chinese Passports identifying them as Uighurs given to them in Beijing with which they could  seek asylum in Europe?

Could the mastermind or rather the director of ops have been a Uighur on board?

Was Beijing the target and was that why the plane was taken into the Indian Ocean when Malaysian authorities failed to check it? Somewhere in the flight that became apparent, at the point they were in  is the most likely area when the take off your seat belt sign would have come on, that would have been the sign for these terrorists to begin their act.

The part of the Indian Ocean where the plane is most likely to have gone down in is a very secluded area, the people on board were going to die so that was the only way out to prevent further damage to life and property and that is what the pilot did. Remember the case of the Indian pilot who took his plane out to see when he knew it was going to crash? Was it in Mumbai? Pilots are trained to be responsible for life and they have been proven to be good at it. Instead we only look at the very very few cases of Pilot Suicide.

Besides the the two passengers on fake passports and the Uighur on board were there any Malaysian in this plot, after all we have a record for it, we had Noordin Top, Dr. Azahari Hussin and we have PERKASA the Malaysian cradle for terror, the group that has led a lot of Malaysians to think extremely and to threaten people - not foreigners but Malaysians with violence and they do this unabated with the support of UMNO.

I see PERKASA as a cradle of terror activities for it is  from such organizations with such ideologies that the terror groups recruit their young who become ardent followers and our authorities know this but fil to act they encourage it most of the time.

Where is PERKASA?

There has never been so much of a lull from Ibrahim Ali, and PERKASA?


Where is Mahahir? His silence in this entire episode is deafening.

That the plane was hijacked goes without saying, both the Pilots are not part of this Hijacking and that is fact, but whoever it was is probably known to the Malaysian Government. The black box must be inspected by a multinational team to include the Americans, Chinese, Indians, French, Russians, English and Malaysians.

I'd like to add Mongolia too, but I really do not know if they have the competence.

The world is now seeing the results  of its indifference to a corrupt and wicked regime that it allowed to carry on unabated, it sees how secretive this regime can be, it also shows how it tries to deceive the entire world.

Do Malaysian officials' reports add up?
Brian Todd examines the conflicting reports given by Malaysian officials in regards to the investigation into Flight 370.

The system of governance in Malaysia is apartheid it  so blatant, you have first and second class citizens. First class citizens can say anything bout second class citizens and get away scot free, it is not dangerous, it is alright, it is accepted. In fact these people who do so are backed by this government.

Fourth and fifth generation Malaysians are second class citizens when first generation citizens (recent immigrants)  can become first class citizens based only on religion, and the ability to speak Malay and follow what it calls Malay customs which can mean so many things.

Each time the minorities take up an issue and the UMNO -  the most dominant party in government does not like it, these minorities are told they  are insensitive and are threatening Malay rights even to the extent of asking them if they want another May 13.

Malaysia has now become the first country in the world to have such a big and sophisticated plane disappear into thin air. Yes disappear. What an achievement?  That is how they look at it.

A review of the world news at large including now China's CCTV shows that most of the countries participating  in this  effort to try and locate this plane do not trust the Malaysian Government.

Aren't we as Malaysians  familiar with this?

Lies, lies and lies, was it not Hishamuddin the then Home Minister  the man who blatantly lied about Police violence in Berseh two?

Why is this man a proven incompetent minister been put to put us to shame in eyes of the world?

It is  time for the Chief secretary to the government to act,  sack those who have been giving misleading information which Hishamuddin denies we have done. Sack those who have in the eyes of the world shown their incompetence,  I will not name the many I think if the Chief secretary can't get that right then he as to be sacked as well.

Was it not the head of the DCA who said that five passengers checked in for the flight and did not board the plane?

Was he not the one who also said that their baggage were all unloaded in accordance with  security procedures where the tags on the bags were checked to ensure it was their baggage?

Did this story not change the day after this blog  asked the question;  how could the plane take off on time if that was the case, the blog said it would have taken the airline at least twenty minutes to do that.

Was it also not him who told the press rather curtly that we do not have to review our security as we have  been audited and nothing was found wrong?

Why  are there conflicting reports of the time the plane went out of the radar screen?

This incompetence is mainly due to this country's rejection of a system of meritocracy, when the thrid best or even the worst is given the opportunity and the best left to emigrate.

Why is it Hishamuddin made a statement to the effect that the Chinese have said that the satellite picture was not of debris and that he was told that the picture was a mistake?

Why is it the Chinese press are after him even insulting him by asking how much do "we know" about satellites? This is immediately after his statement on the Satellite pictures and we are now told the Chinese ships are heading in that direction. Why is it the Chinese PM has been reported by the Government backed media as having said China will continue to investigate that debris or what looked like debris form the satellite imagery?

Have we not been shamed sufficiently? Do we need this over and over again? Are we going to destine our country to the dogs?

Are we numb to all this, or shall I ask are we so thick skinned that national pride  is worth nothing to us?

I feel so much like a fool, I feel like a confounded idiot, each time I hear our authorities making statements about MH370 to the world,  I feel shy and I feel like turning off the TV, when I heard the BBC report in a pub in KL yesterday where there were foreigners I felt like creeping under the table and hiding and I ask myself why.

This is plainly because many Malaysians have no shame they have no sense of national pride, this is  because  even though  they know how crooked this government is they stll back them for their own selfish interests.

I am talking about the UMNO members, I am talking about  the bankrupt MCA and its entire membership, I am talking about MIC and Palinivel, I am talking about the Gerakan if it still exists, I am talking about Pairin Kitingan and the Sabah government, I am talking about Sarawak BN members what shame, and what a shameful situation we have been put into.

This government is so arrogant  that world opinion does not matter, expert opinion does not matter because expert opinion will only reveal the incompetency and the l;level of intelligence of  imbeciles put in positions of authority have.

The Chinese Prime Minister has come out time and again about this crash, how many times has our PM done that? Is this not a Malaysian Airline?

Does it not carry our flag as part of its logo?

Najib Where is he?

Then where is Najib?

Why is he hiding?

What is there to hide?

The world really believes there is something to hide and that we are hiding it.

Now it makes sense to me for it was Najib who told the people at a press conference not to listen to others and that they will keep everyone informed.

Now does that not make sense to Malaysians, that is how he is going to ensure that the UMNO supporter still gets his news, after all in the  rural areas and with those who can't understand English it is  only the Malay, the Tamil and the Chinese News that is available, the news that is controlled by the government, the news which is actually information from the Government to the people for the government, this government the UMNO led BN government.

My first reaction to this  crash was, I this an UMNO diversion tactic? Remember just the day before the Parti Keadillan (Justice Party) had called for the launch of Reformasi ll after the court of appeal overturned Anwar's acquittal on grounds brought by the a bounty hunter type of public prosecutor without evenooking into or considering   Ram Karpal Singh's arguments.

A case in which our incompetent Attorney General had to get another lawyer  to come and handle the appeal for the prosecution. That was how desperate they were to get Anwar in jail for an offense that the whole of Malaysia thinks is a farce.


In the final analysis it is our fault we voted this government in, we allowed it to happen by our indifference by refusing to speak up to our friends and neighbors it is our indifference that has cost this.

Have we  reached this stage? I suspect we have? And I suspect that all of us me included live in fear of this repressive regime. If we have not reached this stage, are we going to allow it to happen?
