Hadi Awang to launch the Trojan Horse for Najib

AS SUPPORT WANES....
PAS is doing a 360 degree turn,  the party is being deserted, as seen in the poorly attended  355 rally where Hadi boasted he'd get 200,000 attendees.
UMNO is PAS & PAS is UMNO

Almost immediately after the rally its Vice President Iskandar Abdul Samad came out saying it has no problems with PKR, "no one said anything about cutting ties with PKR," said  Iskandar, who is also Selangor executive council member. The executive council member and PAS VP is apparently ignorant of the stand of Hadi A wang, or has no regard for what the PAS President  says.

Although this PAS VP has been very vocal about his doubts of UMNO integrity he is still a PAS man and refuses to budge, whilst his boss Hadi A wang has openly declared that “there can be absolutely no cooperation between PAS and either Amanah or DAP”, and at the same time is very supportive of Najib with whom he has a truce of some sorts.

According to dissident UMNO sources Najib has convinced Hadi that PAS problems were not with UMNO but rather were  with
Done Deal with Hadi
Mahathir, and Hadi A wang has decided to accept that although he knows extremely well  that it was Hussein Onn who declared emergency in Kelantan and took over the state, with his famous

"Demi Allah" speech, and it was Musa who was in charge during the time of the Memali attack by the Police and not Mahathir.
Hadi Awang surely must have had other more compelling motives to align with Najib.
Abdul Samad must  take a clear stand,  and so too must the opposition both jointly and individually as parties.
If he is sincere Abdul Samad  has to challenge Hadi and make his stand clear that regardless he still supports not only PKR but the new coalition as well and move out of PAS, if necessary.
("The hottest places in Hell are reserved for those who in time of moral crisis preserve their neutrality.".....Dante Alighieri... the Divine Comedy)

It is now becoming clear that PAS is rethinking its commitments to the grouping  as it is now beginning to feel that the ground it is now standing on is not as solid as it thought it would be.
Many PAS tickets were won on Chinese votes, and many because of PKR support for PAS too, PKR supporters and opposition supporters from DAP Indians, Chinese and Malays gave PAS that backing and Satuday's 360 rally shows that the PAS Malay base is shrinking and that is the only base they have, with the exception of one or two Indians.
In the past PAS never won as many seats on its own, prior to becoming part of the Pakatan Rakyat, never ever in its history and that is now sinking in, PAS is getting worried as Amanah gains strength. And Hadi knows it will never happen again and PAS is now really worried.

It is rather obvious now that PAS does not have the backing of all these components, the support is swinging on to Amanah, and PAS has realized its folly, so if PAS decides to take the fight 3 way all the better, because the anti UMNO Malays who now  make up a good number, and the UMNO members who have now moved their allegiance to the opposition since 1MDB will move their votes to Amanah, and this has become very obvious.

Gaining strength with support increasing by the day

Even though the turnout for the 355 rally last Saturday included children it was very poorly attended indicating that PAS has lost its support.
Hadi's dream of 200,000 supporters did not even number 20,000, and even if 2000 understood why they were really there for  that may have been a consolation.

PAS TURNING DESPERATE ALL FORCES AGAINST THEM EXCEPT NAJIB
Now as desperation creeps into PAS for having made the wrong moves because of reasons that have become too obvious,  they have to sing a different tune, and they are trying to mend the fence, and PKR must ensure that PAS can't just can't be readmitted.

They the PAS made that decision  to move out and out they must go, it was an empty threat to move Dap out and weaken the opposition,  their actions reveal they are traitors of Pakatan Rakyat, and can't be trusted, PAS will walk with Najib no matter where they stand after the elections that is the "done deal."

PAS has yet to file an action against Sarawak Report for its allegations that they were  handsomely paid off  by Najib, they threatened to do so and to date it has not been done it, what are they waiting for?

They have made claims that they have filed the case, when in fact nothing has been done except for the fact that a law firm wrote to Sarawak report, which SR just ignored, and the time period given has way passed its time and nothing has been done todate.

Have they anything to be afraid of? Does Sarawak report have some damaging evidence with which they can expose PAS?

Now to  create more doubt about their integrity  the PAS  Spiritual leader is alleged to own a new Porche on his meager salary and this is creating a lot of talk even among staunch Kelantan PAS supporters.

Why, even Nik Aziz the former spiritual leader and MB of Kelantan only used an old Mercedes Benz he inherited from the previous Menteri Besar. Nik Aziz was the previous spiritual advisor, the PAS ordinary membership and grass root supporters are now questioning the integrity of the party's leadership and are having doubts about Sarawak Report's claims, just like many ordinary UMNO members are having doubts about the integrity of Najib and other leaders over the 1MDB saga.

Moreover the floods in Kelantan showed exactly how allocations meant for the poor and suffering are spent, and the accountability of the same, something  those victims will never forget.

According to UMNO members dissatisfied with present regime, and who are working against the party from within, a pact has been reached between Hadi and Najib on cooperation  now an after the General elections.

THE TROJAN HORSE TO MOVE IN
The New Alliance

Hadi has ben directed by Najib to use his resources to confuse the electorate and that is why different people in PAS today speak different languages,  it is being created as a strategy by PAS and UMNO to confuse the opposition electorate. The opposition has to be very careful.

I had a meeting with my friends in Masjid Tanah Melaka, at the house of an old friend, his sons are today in UMNO and enjoy a  strong following of youth in north Johor and they are very well connected to Johor UMNO groups who are working tirelessly to get rid of the present UMNO crop, they always say "it is time to purge UMNO, as it cannot function as it is today, all the corrupt have to be wiped out or a new party has to come to replace them," and now they say,  "it may be time to really wipe out UMNO as it is corrupt to the core."

These young Turks in UMNO as I refer to them have told me that to unseat both Najib and Ahmad Zahid is difficult but not impossible, and that is what they are aiming to do, they already are doing groundwork in Bagan Dato Zahid's constituency, "the PAS members there know him to be a 'rogue' and an 'opportunist' " said the guy who calls himself Toni, a full blooded Parit Besar Malay. They are currently focusing on the PAS members there many of whom are disappointed with the party for aligning with UMNO, they have a total dislike for the DPM.

The young Turks are adopting a strategy to weaken Najib's and Zahid's home base to get them to concentrate there, so that, "there will be less time to lie to the electorate elsewhere", as one of them put it.

The opposition on the other hand has its game plan being hatched, there will be revelations about Hadi and three other PAS leaders that will discredit them and expose their true colours.

"Hadi is not as clean as he portrays to be and everyone knows that he is not a worthy successor of Nik Aziz, he has even corrupted Nik Aziz son and a growing number of  people in Kelantan are now not prepared to accept that anymore", I was told by a current PAS member who says he has chosen to remain in PAS to know what is going on behind the scenes.

There is certainly a move to get UMNO out, there are talks by these young Turks with the relatively young MPs from Amanah, and PKR to jointly canvass new members from UMNO and PAS. For the time being  Parti Pribumi Bersatu has deliberately been left out of this campaign they say, "we still have to wait and see although we will lend our total support to any PPB candidate in the coming general elections".

PAS IS UMNO AND UMNO IS PAS

The young Turks want to sound a warning to the opposition, they feel they should immediately distance themselves from PAS or risk failure at the next GE.

"PAS MUST BE TOLD IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS 'OUT YOU GO WE HAVE NO PLACE FOR YOU!!!' AND IT MUST BE SAID NOW!!" said one of these young Turks  who refused to be identified, he wore a skull cap, smokes Salem and  stands about 183 cm tall  real imposing figure who speaks fluent English, Malay, Jawi and Tamil, but assures me he has no Indian blood but is part Arab.
UMNO IS PAS AND PAS IS UMNO

"The people must be told now and before it is too late that PAS is UMNO and UMNO is PAS, and there is nothing different between them now, or face the risk of confusing the electorate by not doing so," said the  American trained psychologist in their midst, he is from Johor.

If he could, Najib will hold the elections yesterday

 By Kartika Embun

Some of Najib's closest aides are complaining at how jittery the PM has become of late.
A Clueless Najib
He is impatient with MCA, with MIC all the Barisan partners in Sarawak and Sabah and most of all with his closest confidantes.

The financial situation the country is going from bad to worse, it is at crisis point but Najib refuses to accept it, no matter what the government claims the Ringgit is likely to dip to RM5.3 to the US$ by August this year, that will lead to petrol price hikes and prices of essential commodities spiraling upward according to local financial experts.

The national coffers  has hardly anything to support the people with, subsidies have been withdrawn  and Najib knows that it is the rakyat who are now earning less then they did some 5 years ago in real terms are bearing the burden of all his lack of good financial management.

To add to that misery Malaysians are losing their jobs in large numbers, many have been made redundant, many more are just waiting their turn to be laid off as Najib looks at ways of making money from the people.

Najib's advisers have told him raise GST to 9% or face the serious consequence of running out of cash, whilst all this is happening and whilst we are running out of cash, our pilots on MAS and other commercial flights have seen our Government owned plane in the skies off Sri Lanka, at  times when  Najib was in Malaysia, I wonder what the cost for these flights will be,  and if there were shopping
goodies on board the plane  what would have been the overall travel experience considering GST of articles bought abroad, what is the state plane doing abroad when Najib is here in Malaysia who is it ferrying and for what. We must accept the fact that in the middle east, Najib's family members will be accorded all the privacy they require and places like Dubai are shopping havens, os I think we can guess who was on board.

Top economic advisers to he government have recommended an increase of GST to at least 9 percent followed by a gradual increase to at least 15% by 2020 and Najib knows that he can't do it before he first goes to the polls.

You can count on  GST increase immediately after the next General Elections if the BN wins, that is already on the cards and that is why Najib is racing for time to hold the next GE.

The opposition parties I believe  have all these facts in place  to pounce on the BN when the campaigning begins, and we can be sure that Najib will lie to the electorate again like he did in the run up to the last elections where he pledged not to raise petrol prices and toll, he even promised to scrap the toll in may areas, but only went on to raise oil prices which he now blames on the Ringgit, a slide caused mainly by him, and the continuous raising of toll on the toll roads of Malaysia.

Will the Rakyat believe this man anymore???

In the  kampungs it is already been asked; why is that Najib has not made a request for the extradition of the murderer of Altantuya  Shaaribu, Sirul Azahar, and what has happened to the conviction of Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, the kampung folk seem to be wising up to the lies that have been told to them over and over again.

Most Malaysians do not believe that it was these two individuals who killed Altantuya, but the court cases were so designed to protect the real perpetrators of the crime, an abuse of our judicial system. It has been 10 long years since the murder and still nothing has come out of this incident, and the murderers are walking free.

Of course Najib went and took an Oath in a mosque and was thus not even questioned about this murder by the police,  and one wonders how many other murder investigations were handled similarly.

In the last elections there was a lot of pressure on Muhyiddin to take on Najib, but Muhyiddin decided to play it cool, "he got his entire strategy wrong," says one of the UMNO rebels still within the party, there are many like him both in Johor and Melaka and their numbers are growing the UMNO rebels I mean.

"I am glad he got that wrong, because he is no material fo a PM," said Daud the spokesman for the group. I asked him if his real name is Daud, that is the name he introduced himself to me as, they do not reveal names, he said,  "well it was David who slew Goliath, and Daud is David," smiling. He looks more like  Goliath than a David though judging from his size.

Najib has a lot of baggage he has to get rid of, if  he intends to do better at the next GE, one is to get rid of Sharizat, as she does not have the confidence of the grass roots, the other is to deny MCA and
Worried being kept out of the loop
Gerakan any Malay majority seat, they will never win if they stand in these constituencies and these are the very things he is pondering, even the MIC is likely not to get any seats this time around as he fights for his life.

Najib is now depending more on the advice of foreign specialists to help him at these elections, professionals who are studying everything from constituencies to pay outs, and promised projects unlike before he will kick start his campaign in the east with his empty promises, the people will be bribed for twopence again and then he will come west  with a whirlwind tour of the entire country before elections.

Muhyiddin was a seasoned campaigner for Najib, although not a very good one he was the best in the BN camp,  now that he has gone Najib is wondering who to replace Muhyiddin with as a campaigner, his current deputy Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is clown extraordinaire,   he can't rely on him, Khairy Jamaluddin is of course a shade better than Jamal Yunos,  Najib has no choice but to use him and many of his innumerable clowns, Jamal Yunos may still have a role to disrupt opposition rallies, so watch if he gets nabbed, all that is happening to him now is the usual sandiwara we are so used to witnessing with this scoundrel.

From PAS he will get the support of Hadi Awang who will campaign together with  Najib nationwide
I scratch your back you scratch mine
towards the close  and this has left many UMNO and BN faithful worried. Hehas promised Hadi the postion of DPM should Hadi help him him win the elections, and it is now rumored that Hadi will be made DPM1 with 2 DPM's in the next cabinet.

Many UMNO members are aware of this including deputy PM Ahmad Zahid Hamid, but he is remaining quiet as he knows the consequences should he oppose Najib, his supporters have also come to know about this truce with Hadi and are nto too happy with the agreement. In the meantime Hadi is denying that he will join forces with BN, in fact he is not supposed to, according to his understanding with Najib he should continue as an opposition party within the Pakatan or go it alone and then join forces with Najib to form the government after the elections. In fact that agreement is already in place as he constantly supports the government's moves.

The Battle is on, the BN have begun their campaign on the low key, PAS have started theirs too, on the advice of Najib.

The MCA and Gerakan suspect something amiss as they have not been informed, Najib suspects that MCA members will leak the information to the opposition, so MCA has been kept out with the finer details of the impending General Elections, however the two parties are getting ready too suspecting something amiss.

Let us all prepare for a huge electoral battle, thsi time to make the rural electorate know what is at stake.

Why is Najib so silent about Islamic issues in China and America?

Can Najib do the same thing he did to Myanmar to the China and the US?

Is the fear that he will be exposed as a two timer the reason he is not taking a stand on Trump?
Is it because he is afraid the Chinese will withdraw all support for him, the reason he is afraid to take on China?

Malaysian Prime Minister likes to drum support by championing Islamic issues on a selective basis and where he feels rather secure, so that is why he joined his best friend and strategic partner Hadi Awang
in condemning Myanmar over the Rohingya issues.

The Rohingya people as the whole world world knows,  are Bangladeshis and even today Bangladeshis take to the  Rakhine State, in Myanmar to claim to be Rohingyas in an attempt to seek asylum status in Malaysia, but that is another issue.

The UN has recognised that these people are subject to Human Rights violations and they are, so to champion their cause is right and  of course noble because no people must be subject to human rights violations.

Najib championed their cause even to the ire of the remaining ASEAN members as it was against ASEAN principles of non interference in the internal affairs of another member state and he did not give a damn  and it was a right move for the wrong reasons, he did it not because he cares about such issues, he wanted to drum up support for his fledgling unpopularity  especially among  the rural Malays. He did this together with Hadi Awang at an event mooted by Hadi and PAS.

Now  was this really what he intended t do or was he on a political mission to seek popularity by stirring religious sentiments?

Najib as we al know is increasingly trying to up his popularity by playing the religious card.

Najib was no way interested or committed to the Rohingya cause nor the state, all he was interested in was the political mileage he had set out to attain it  and so the big Wayang, the Serbanika, the big show.

If Najib was really a just man looking for  justice why did he not hold similar rallies against the ISIS when they murdered Christians, Yazidees and non believers including Shia Muslims in the middle east?

He did not do that because he was well aware that the ISIS was actually a force funded by the Saudis, his great friend Obama and Erdogan of Turkey to fight the Syrians.

He was in the team that wanted to get rid of Syria's Assad, after all that was what the Saudi's wanted as the Saudis wanted to be the head of the Sunnis, to them non Sunnis had no place in the middle east, even Sunnis who posed a threat to them had to be removed and so cleverly with the help of America they got rid of Saddam Hussein and Gadaffi and now they were actually allowing and continue to allow the ISIS to control Iraqi Oil to fund their purposes. They set up ISIS, ISUS did not suddenly appear in the middle East if they did it would have been the greatest miracle of recent times, but miracles have stopped happening in the Middle east fora long long time now.

Well you may excuse Najib for not condemning ISIS after all they are of the same stock as him, and so he can be excused for keeping quiet, after all they killed Christians and Yazidees so no problem, whilst in Europe and America Christians, Church groups  take to the streets to fight for the rights of Muslim refugees, whom Saudi Arabia and the remaining Islamic countries of the Middle East will not have, but let us turn our attention elsewhere and see how sincere Najib really is.

The Uyghur Problem

China has they Uighur problem, in the area China now calls Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
This region borders Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, and it is currently China's largest natural gas-producing region.
The Uyghur's may not have a legitimate claim  to a Uyghur nation but nevertheless it is an Islamic state problem.

There is a long and complicated history of this region and its people, the Uighur people are certainly
not Han Chinese people, China has sent in many Han Chinese to these areas and China has controlled this area for a long time taking it over actually from the Mongols, but the ethnic people of this region are certainly not Han Chinese and are made up of people of mixed stock including Indo Europeans, Indo Persian stock, Europeans of Russia origin, Turks etc. and all are predominantly Muslims.

They do not accept China's right to the territory and the Uighur have been fighting for their own land for a long time but have received little or no support from the Muslim world including Malaysia. In  fact I had written about his much earlier in this blog and I was not wrong in assuming that Malaysia was afraid of China on this issue, this is one Muslim issue that Malaysia has never raised with China and the Muslims in Malaysia must ask Najib why?

If the Uighur's are wrong in making that claim Malaysia must offer to mediate to bring the whole issue to a peaceful end, but knowing China, China will not have it, they prefer to settle their own internal issues the way they think best. The question is; has Najib raised this issue? The Uyghurs ere also brought into the lime light in the MH370 investigations initially.

To the answer the question the fact is he never did, raise this issue and even if he did behind closed doors it is most likely the Chinese would have told him to mind his own business.

NOW TO THE QUESTION OF WHAT IS NAJIB'S STAND ON TRUMP'S BAN ON MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS FROM SEVERAL MUSLIM COUNTRIES IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

This is the most interesting of all, because I think and in fact I know that Najib supports Trump's move in banning Muslim's from these countries, not by choice but rather by circumstances and he is feeling very uneasy about it, he is being forced to support Trump because he brought it on himself by his own actions and that of his cronies.

But why should he feel uneasy about it, that he is forced to support  Trump's move.

Well the reason is this, he'd love to come out  and yell at the top of his voice condemning Trump's this move, he'd love to call for Islamic solidarity to support him to do this, he'd like to be seen as the champion of the OIC and leading them in this quest, he thirsts for the world stage, when he has got it
now for all the wrong reasons, he'd like to hold a rally bigger than any Bersih Rally to do this, and then gain the massive Muslim support he now craves to help him go to the next polls and win, but he can't

He can do it , he is dying to do it but he just can't and why?

How can he when in his own country he has used the offices of the heads of Sarawak and Sabah from restricting the movement of of Malaysians to these states, and many of them are Muslims too, but when you restrict the movement of people within your own country, how do you go and tell a government or a President that stopping foreigners he chooses to stop from entering his country is wrong?

He can't because the US is a nation by itself and it has every right to decide who can come in and who can't, just like Malaysia can and just like Malaysia does.

But who is Najib to go and yell at Donald Trump and the States when in his own country, he uses his cronies to prevent the movement of opposition Parliamentarians and other citizens  freedom of movement from one state to another?

On the same token the Saudis and other Gulf states have chosen to remain quiet, they remain quiet because they realsie that they themselves do not want these Arabs in their states and refugees, they had a bad experience with Palestinian refugees in the past, and they do not want a repeat.

The refugees also do not want to be in the middle east because of the tyrannical regimes in these Muslim countries, and so they choose to go to Europe where they perceive life is better and it certainly is, but togethegr with them come comes hoards of radical Islamic terrorists hwo will terrorise these bona fide refugees into adopting radical means to destabilise the countries that host them and that is the truth.

To add insult to injury and instead of welcoming these Arabs the Muslims of the Arab world namely Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states are promising billions to build mosques in Europe for these fleeing Muslims, why mosques is that the priority? If it is then I think they should buid them in Saudi Arabia and bring them to the empty luxury tents they have in Saudi Arabia to house these refugees.

What Trump is doing is internationally acceptable, refusing foreign nationals entry into your country is your right (but this  is morally wrong, no human being who is running for fear of their lives should bee used as a pawns for ones own agenda as in this case by Donald Trump the entire world must rise up and condemn this in no uncertain terms)  Najib's government has banned  foreign journalists from entering Malaysia, it is alright that is the right of the country, so too with Trump and who he decides not enter the USA, but Najib has no right constitutionally or otherwise to bar Malaysians entry from one state to another just because of their political beliefs and he has done it, just to safe his own skin.

So if any of you think Donald Trump and i sincerely think he may be,  remember one thing Najib and hsi band of middle eastern sheiks  is the badder guys.

Najib is setting his sights on PAS to bail him out at coming GE

The Unholy Alliance
The next  General Elections is coming and to say it is just around the corner will be an understatement.

Done Deal
Whilst the opposition is put in disarray by the BN and its cronies including the heads  of many a statutory body entrusted to ensure fair play and the wishes of the people, with Najib and his cronies it is just the opposite.

With Anwar conveniently tucked away in jail they are now targeting the likes of Rafizi, Tien Chua, Khalid Abdul Samad, Lim Guan Eng and many more while  Najib goes about his way making his strategy work.

The danger with the current situation is Mukhriz's attempt to tie up with PAS, the very party Najib will be using to ensure his stay in power.  In Kedah the opposition should go for an all out fight, with UMNO and PAS rather than allow PAS a free reign. PAS is UMNO's or rather Najib's "Trojan Horse".

Do not underestimate Amanah, with Parti Pribumi Bersatu and Amanah on the same platform PAS is in
real trouble, they the PAS Ulamak are speaking bout it at every meeting they now hold behind closed doors and if Mukhriz has not got that message yet he is not prepared for the position of MB Kedah.

Yes, with Parti Pribumi and Amanah joining forces against PAS and UMNO,  PAS is a gonna even in Kelantan and that is the ground swell as it stands right now.

The PAS membership are well aware of the close beneficial links between Hadi and UMNO and many, a very many are totally disgusted with it. "He has sold the soul of PAS," according to one Ustaz from Padang Terap. This Ustaz is already campaigning against the PAS leadership although in the open he looks pro PAS. That has always been the PAS strategy. According to some sources even the PAS leadership is aware of this damaging Ustaz and dare not take him to task as they fear it will split the party even further.
The New Barisan in the making
To be disqualified as an MP

Najib has indicated that he will allow a free reign to many PAS candidates to contest PKR on a one to one and where they need a split they will go in for a three cornered fight.

The Opposition have to go into this elections with their eyes opened, as UMNO sources from Johor have confirmed that the PAS people in Johor are already talking about Hadi becoming a Deputy Prime Minister in the BN if PAS should help BN wrestle power in the country, and if we know Hadi well enough,  we all know what will happen.

The cry about the DAP ruling the country is to pull over the eyes of the Malay electorate especially the UMNO guys in light of what is in store with for Hadi, and Hadi is ready for it. Many in UMNO are not aware of this deal with Hadi, and according to the Johor UMNO source even the current DPM is in the dark

Najib has instructed Hadi to get into a deal with the opposition that will be the easier way out, and  at the eleventh hour to field candidates against the opposition, in opposition territory just to split the vote and give UMNO its dues. This has been done before albeit on a much smaller scale.

It is not Kit Siang who will call the shots as Najib alleges in an opposition government,  but Hadi and PAS that is the real game, and many Malaysians, Mukhriz and even senior UMNO and PAS members are in the dark about this evil plot as many UMNO men will be sidelined and Hadi will become DPM1. According to my UMNO sources Hadi is still demanding only one DPM position and that is him.

The PAS Ulamak have already hit the road, go to opposition areas and take a look all the PAS flags are up, it is a sign that the elections are on the way.

Najib has fast forwarded branch and Division meetings of UMNO and even the MIC and MCA are quite in the dark of the goings on.

Najib is not worried about what MCA or MIC or for that matter even the totally defeated Gerakan thinks,
Another Victim
many of their candidates will be dropped for his own security and PAS will after the next GE become a reckoning force in BN and whatever the other BN members think will be immaterial and of no consequence, in fact a new coalition is in place and it will materialise after the next General Elections, with PAS playing a pivotal role.

The opposition should discard PAS with immediate effect, the Selangor Government should sack PAS from Government and go it alone with the DAP and the Amanah members, some UMNO members will then opt to move to Pribumi and the power will still be with the people.

Johore promises many surprises at the next GE and so too Negeri Sembilan and Trengganu. We need to make a better effort in Sarawak and Sabah and this Government can fall.

IT IS ON  LET USS HIT THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL, BUT REMEMBER.

PAS IS UMNO AND UMNO IS PAS.

IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT DG'S THREAT SEEMS TO BE THE EASY WAY OUT?

OR IT THERE SOMETHING MORE SINISTER BEHIND THAT MOVE?

WHY CAN'T COMMON SENSE JUST  PREVAIL?
IF INDUSTRY DOES WHAT HE IS SAYING OUR ILLEGAL PROBLEMS WILL GET ONLY WORSE.
DG MUST LOOK AT WAYS OF PARTNERING WITH INDUSTRY TO SOLVE THE ILLEGAL ISSUE NOT THREATEN THEM.

The Director of Immigration should take prudent steps to solve this illegal immigrant problem that has plagued this country for more than 30 years and
Immigration Director General
Mustafar Ali
has been steadily rising year on year and instead of threatening employers who are the backbone of our economy, he should address ways to stem out the illegal immigrant problem.

Mustafar Ali must first realise this is not an employer problem but a bigger and more serious Immigration Department problem that has been left unsolved for years because there has been no effective action. He needs to do a root cause analysis and come out with solution's.

A huge portion of illegal immigrants are those who came in legally and then for some reason or other have absconded from their employers thus becoming illegal immigrants, others in huge numbers keep coming into the country via Thailand, via the sea, over the causeway  and even via our airports and as bona fide tourists and students who once they are in refuse to go back.

This is a problem of the department not employers, the illegal immigrant has been coming  in illegallyover the years  and the department has to find ways to put a stop to these illegal entries.

These illegals are a  social problem and employers who employ them have actually offered a solution to this social problem so instead of trying to threaten them with harsh actions the DG should use them as partners to control immigration and stem out the illegal problem with effective measures.

It is now no secret that in more ways than one, officers of the department itself were responsible for this problem via the selling of passports to foreigners as was revealed earlier, they could have been involved in the letting in of many illegal immigrants but I'll not dare guess the numbers and this was compounded by the illegal IC issue in Sabah and many suspect even in the peninsular.

Thousands, if not more even maybe to the extent of exceeding a million illegal immigrants reside in Malaysia and are part of our economy many to the disadvantage of the bona fide Malaysian small traders.

A successful Bangla did he come here to operate a Pasar Malam stall?
There are foreigners who came into this country as workers, ran away from their employers and I know at least one who holds a key post managing his own company in the country today, and that too after overstaying for many years after which he managed to get back to his native land and return as the owner of his own business, which he actually owned as an illegal immigrant and in turn  married anther  illegal Indonesian and has a child born in Malaysia. Foreigners doing business in Malaysia is common place not big huge business but small business that Malaysians could well be doing especially today.

Indonesian's and Bangladeshis are now independent contractors plying their trade here in Malaysia, some registered legally and others without a license and without being registered as such and most probably plying their trade free of tax, whilst milking our economy.

STOP THREATENING AND START  WORKING WITH EMPLOYERS

If there are illegal workers in factories and in other industries, then the Immigration department should do the most sensible thing; get them registered and keep them as workers with a legal work permit with those employers who employ them, rather than go to punish them, treat these employers as your partners and using them come out with some effective solutions.

Allow employers to hold the passports of the workers and issue them with a security Pass signed by a specific person in the Company's management. The pass should contain a photo copy of the employees passport identification page and a copy of his work permit signed and stamped by the employer. This pass should be valid for  only three months at a time and then renewed. The authorities have the right to call for the passport of any employee to whom this pass is issued  at any time for inspection and audit. The workers pass should be accepted as a valid identification document only in the district he resides and works in by the police and immigration, in and he must be told just that, his passport must be kept for safe keeping and embassies  should not issue a passport to their nationals unless there is a valid police report made here in Malaysia. If he intends to leave the district the employer has to put reasonable controls in place to ensure he returns if the employer si willing to allow him to do so , but this should not be encouraged.

Employers will have the task of ensuring that these workers do not abscond, if they do the employer will have to be fined and once the worker is caught he should be sent back to his country of origin without any delay.

These illegal workers should be paid the minimum wage and offered accommodation and their levies are to be paid by the employer.  They should enjoy all benefits enjoyed by their Malaysian counterparts inclusive of Bonus and salary increments during their tenure here in Malaysia.

After a five year period these workers should be repatriated and new ones brought in on that way industry benefits as the new worker who arrives will then begin at the lowest salary on the scale and work upwards for a period of five years, it keeps our wages competitive, but as the minimum wage rises the scale has to be adjusted accordingly.

Factory canteens or hostels canteens must provide reasonably good and nutritious meals  to these foreign workers  at a reasonable cost, and not expensive to the level the worker is broke by the months end.

It will be a good idea for the employer to deduct a sum of 100 ringgit from the the workers wages  and keep it as a saving for the employee. The worker must be told that this is actually to defray any cost iun case he absconds.

This amount of money will be returned to him at the end of the five year contract that will ensure that the worker has RM6000 on the day his contract ends and that is a good amount to take back home. The worker will forfeit his right to this sum if he is dismissed from employment for cause or if he absconds.

The Company has to make a provision of a minimum of RM50 per month per worker so that he receives a gratuity of a minimum of RM3000 at the end of the contract, this coupled with his savings of RM100 per month and his own personal savings if any will give the worker the opportunity to take home a minimum of RM9000 at the end of his contract.

Once the worker realises this,it is a great motivation for him to remain and work diligently with his employer, as he may lose all these if he doesn't.

Once the worker has accumulated more than RM3000 it is very unlikely that he will abscond, moreover if treated fairly and with his overtime income if any the worker will prove to be very productive.

What I am suggesting is a system I personally put in place, where employees were extremely productive and even offered to work during the Hari Raya Holidays for which they were rewarded with a fast food of their choice which was a great hit besides Holiday wages for the third day of Hari Raya which was not a Public Holiday.

The Company performed beyond targeted expectations year on year and workers got as much as even four months salary as bonus.

Employers who choose to hire foreign workers must be aware that there is a cost to hire these workers, and if they are willing to pay that cost why not, but all said and done the Malaysian worker must be given the first choice and if they Malaysian worker takes the job his hire is for a permanent tenure up till retirement at age 60 as the law now applies his total cost to the company must not be inferior to that of the foreign worker at point of entry when the Malaysian worker begins employment.

Instead of threatening employers in  industry with these half past six measures  that are punitive and in "accordance with the Law" and then allowing them to bring in workers from Bangladesh as has been agreed upon by our Minister of Home affairs for which we believe his brother has a hand, let us legalise these people who are already on the job, under these or more stringent terms and let things move on rather than increase the number of foreigners many of whom will turn illegal anyway as has been the case for so long.

The terms and conditions mentioned above must apply to all foreign labour, employers must be able to pay the cost for foreign labour and not just rely on them as a cheap source at the expense of the Malaysian worker.

The joint population of the legal and illegal immigrants  in the country today far exceeds the number of Indians and Orang Asli put together I am told.

The Immigration department should step up its efforts to stem out this inflow of the illegals, not bring them in cohorts with people in the department and other government agencies and then once in treat them as slaves and criminals.

Malaysians in general are generous and kind and we shall not allow another human being to be trampled upon whilst he is trying to survive, what we should do is to check the source of the problem and rectify our mistakes of the past, and in doing that stop the influx of foreign labour.

Our priority now must be to legalsie these illegal foreign workers without using third parties to add cost to the employer, we already have a fat government service and they shoudl be used to run this exercise  till we have legalised the current batch of illegal foreign workers to the fullest,  in a very transparent manner so that the illegals can be legalised without fear and the process made easy for employers, given an opportunity to earn a descent living and the facility to save and then repatriated after a reasonable tenure  in the country.

Why can't this be done instead of bringing in 1.5 million Banglas?

Or is this a sinister move to get employers to employ the 1.5 million quota the government has given the Bangladeshis, that figure not being met because there is a lack of demand and is this an arm twister being carried out in the interested parties who are unable to benefit from fulfilling the 1.5 million quota of Bangladeshi workers?
