April 28th 2012 will go down in the History of Malaysia as one of its most important days. Our Children will remember this day for one reason or another, and make sure they remember it for the right reasons, because they will equate this day with your contribution for them and their future.

Yes,  if we turn out in huge numbers you will be  telling the government we are not going to allow them undermine the ballot box the way  they are going to.

Even an International observer team has raised concerns about our elections process, they have seen Nazri and Tengku Adnan about it but our media has failed to report it and one can only wonder why.

Tomorrow,  if it is a success - it has to be such a roving success that it will get this government to adhere to the principles of free and fair elections and ensure that the democratic process is not compromised or circumvented as it is right now with unequal distribution of electoral boundaries, Tengku Adnan's seat is a classic example.

If that is achieved this government may lose this elections, remember at the last elections the opposition obtained 48 percent of the vote and yet obtained only about one third of the seats, that is how the democratic process is circumvented in their favour.

Now tomorrow will also be a curtain raiser for fence sitters and others they will sit up and take notice, and they'll take notice of what is really happening, they will then have to get involved one way or the other and that is only if you show up.

Tomorrow the whole world will focus on Malaysia because tomorrow we will have CCTV here, we'll have CNN, BBC and al Jazeera will be here too and most important is that TASS the Russian equivalent of BERNAMA will be here too.

The Egyptian and middle eastern press will be represented by agencies from the middle east, the Indians are here and so too the Germans and the French so tomorrow is a big day and you can make a difference if you are present, you can also make a difference if you are not present.

Remember the cost of your presence or absence, it is not for you that you should be there, it is for your children, you brought them into this world, they are your responsibility and it is you who should ensure their well being.

Mahathir has ensured the well being of his children, well they are millionaires if not billionaires, after all that was part of his dream when he became Prime Minster to make one thousand Malays millionaires and hsi children are in that one thousand and they are not small fish they are big ones I am told.

Now Mahahtir is working hard to ensure that one of his sons has a sound political career, probably become a Prime Minister soon too, so that everything will be in order.

What a good father he has been, take  cue from him, seethe sacrifices he has made to make them rich, he has been insulted  all sorts of things have been siad but he does not care, because it is his children.
\
Many of our minsters have their children overseas, they have the riches to look after them there and they do not even need to return.

Your children are around, jobs are not easy to come by, people are finding  it difficult, your children who are working are finding it difficult, they can't keep up with their peers especially if their peers are political appointees. What more if they are classmates of  children whose parents get a 250 million ringgit grant to start up some farm  and their children become instant  directors without any experience earning big money spending it like as though public funds are their ATM machines,  when your children who have done so much better at school have to scrape a living.

Are you going to let this happen or are you going to act. I am sure as responsible parents and grandparents you will act, you will show up tomorrow at the various Bersih rallies to ensure a change for their future.

For goodness sake come out and be counted, let your children remember this day in history when you did something for them to make their future better.

It's show up time, that's all that matters, Show Up!!!

It's not time for a showdown, but it is definitely time to show up, show up for Bersih 3.0

The authorities are doing everything to intimidate us , take a look at the meeting points and follow the crowd, assemble peacefully try not to block the traffic, give way PAS normally sends it people to control the crowd follow their instructions. they are very seasoned in crowd control.

Do not intimidate the Police let time be around I guess they are there to protect us, and I hope their Minister has not given them other instructions.

Always bear in mind what you are doing, you are registering your protest about the need for sanctity of the ballot box.

As it is the Chief of the Elections Commission and his deputy are both now alleged to be UMNO members, that alone speaks volumes about the integrity of the Commission.

PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has claimed  that EC chief Abdul Aziz Yusof is registered at Umno’s Ampang division, while his deputy Wan Ahmad Wan Omar's is Pasir Mas.

The EC chief of course in his usual style has denied it, whilst his deputy is aware of his membership and say's it has not affected his duties as in the Elections Commission. Maybe to him because as an UMNO member he will only look at UMNO issues.

It's like the Prime Minster becoming Chief justice and sitting judge in an UMNO case and telling us his position in UMNO has nothing to do with his judgements.

According to Saifuddin, the EC chief is registered with Ampang Baru branch in Ampang, Selangor.
The deputy chief is a member of Kubang Bunggor branch, Pasir Mas, Kelantan.

Saifuddin  has urged both of them to quit the EC, citing Public trust as the most important criteria for this position.

Meanwhile the nations' biggest goat has said beeh,  beeh, I am no scpaegoat for the government over bershi3, what a laugh. I am sure if you dig through the files he is an UMNO man as well.

Getting back to tomorrow, remember it is SHOW UP TIME SO SHOW UP!!!!!

Thursday, Friday and on Saturday, it's here we come

Malaysiakini is down hit by violent attacks the BN kind.

It as scheduled on Saturday 28th April at 2.00 p.m. at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur and at other venues in all major towns in the country make sure we are all there.

(For those of you going to KL please not the gathering points provided at the bottom of this page.)

Up to this moment there is no news from Bersih that there will ever be a change in the venue, so do not listen to rumours expecially if it comes from the offices of either the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, the less intelligent Hishamuddin Hussein Onn  or his cousin Najib Tun Razak, it is not true, Bersih has stood steadfast and said it will be at the Dataran.

Tok Guru issues an Edict to all Muslims - It is Compulsory.
Malaysiakini reports, "PAS spiritual leader Nik Aziz Nik Mat has declared that it is compulsory for all Muslims to attend Bersih 3.0 sit-in at Dataran Merdeka this Saturday afternoon as it is a movement "against injustice".

Bersih's co chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan has hit out  at the mayor for making an offer for a alternate venue at the eleventh hour, " “It is a pity that Fuad chose to be caught up in bureaucracy or we could have resolved this,” said Ambiga.

Kuala Lumpur mayor Ahmad Fuad Ismail must place himself above partisan politics and behave like a gentleman and not a thug, we are peaceful people so stop intimidatingus,  he is reported to have said   "When the time comes, you will know. Don't worry... We are ready. We don't allow them to go to Dataran Merdeka... let us do our job,” it is not his  job as mayor to intimidate the people.

What does he plan to do tell us, have they got they water filled cannons, have they got the tear gas ready, or are they going to come charging with batons beating innocent citizens.

The Minisiter of Home affairs shoud use the police to track criminals, the case agaisnt Altantuya Shaaribu is not over yet, why has he nt sent anyone to France to follow the judicial inquiry into the Scorpene case and the alleged kickbacks, that comes under his ministry, he has to busy himself with such things, the many missing children, he has to investigate  reports about some of his peers children behaving like thugs assaulting security guards, etc, not coming to fix innocent citizens, what is our crime.

The mayor it seems is bent on creating chaos,  by confusing the issue, if you say okay to Merdeka Stadium he will say the management will have to okay it and the management of the Stadium will refuse it, the police will block it because of its vicinity to Victoria Institution, the St. Mary's Church and all that fuss, we are not fools.

The whole world is aware that the last time Bersih planned to have the rally at Merdeka Stadium, the place was barricaded like a war zone with barbed wire and FRU personnel placed there in full force, I was there, and Hishamuddin refused to give us Merdeka Stadium, now the mayor comes and says Merdeka Stadium, is this a joke, no it isn't it is mischievous meandering  to create trouble and nothing less

This time around I am told that even Tass and the Chinese press are sending in personnel to cover this rally, what a surprise, its not only CNN, BBC, Al  Jazeera and the rest but the whole world.

So now you see the peaceful assembly bill is nothing but a load of bullshit. The Dataran is ours and the Mayor has no right to behave like as though it belongs to him, if any chaos is created he will have to take the blame and it will be on his shoulders, what is he trying to do, create trouble for the Rakyat?

Mark my word, there seems to an agenda being hatched here by Hishamuddin his police and the Mayor, what it is only the 28th will tell, so let us all be there, my face book is full of responses, responses saying they'll be there, so0 intimidation pays more people are heading that way.

Hishamuddin should have him arrested, for blocking a legitimate right of the people, but Hishamuddin can't because the last time he Hishamuddin handled it he had to lie through his teeth to defend himself for all the atrocities committed, now he is passing the buck to the Mayor so he and the BN can say the Mayor handled it badly and not the BN, but here the mayor is a BN agent that they will not tell us and that we all know.

It is not the duty of the  office of the Mayor who should prevent people from assembling, the right to assembly is a right enshrined in our constitution, he is not above the constitution, he should stop trying to frighten us he is only a mayor and he should know that, he has no political power and he should stop playing politics.

Note The Gathering Points

The Bersih committee has also listed the gathering points for would-be protesters - Masjid Negara, Masjid Jamek, Pasar Seni, Masjid India, Brickfields and Jalan Sultan - before they proceed to Dataran Merdeka.
