ONE STREAM EDUCATION, BE SERIOUS, LIGHT IT UP!!

Those who follow my articles know that I am almost totally anti UMNO.

 But I'l call a spade a spade when i see one, and I'll support UMNO's Razlan Raafii  who has echoed the wishes of Many Malaysians including me and even the Regent of Johor Tenku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim on a "ONE STREAM EDUCATION SYSTEM".

DON'T END IT THERE, AND DON'T TRASH IT HERE EITHER, BE COMMITTED TO IT BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT WE NEED.

 Dwell on our Strengths

To do this we have to use our strengths, and one of our our biggest strengths which we must recognise  is,  the UEC system of education,  again calling the spade a spade.

I am not saying to make others learn Chinese, although that may be a good thing to encourage, because that language alone drives your brain into analytical mode, it is a language that is made of characters rather than alphabets so we must give thought to it, serious thought, ever wonder why Chinese are so good at Mathematics? .

 BAHASA HAS TO HAVE ITS RIGHTFUL PLACE
Of course Bahasa will not only be the compulsory language but we must get our young to love Bahasa it is our language and it should continue to be compulsory.

On the other hand Tamil is the oldest language in the world not Sanskrit, and Bahasa has its roots in that language not Jawi or Arabic   so we have the best of all the worlds and English in Malaysia though it has deteriorated leaps and bounds to the extent that a growing number of Indonesians especially Javanese are speaking the language very well these days we have to bring back focus on this language, it can be added as a choice if one chooses not to do POL.

Reintroduce the Bulan Bahasa Kebangsaan, the competitions,  the Songs etc, bring into light and let them celebrate our language - Celebrate BAHASA KEBANGSAAN KITA..

As far as the UEC system goes  I am saying use the expertise,   teaching methods, curriculum learning and teaching culture into the one stream of our education system, call on the Chinese Educationists to contribute, and contribute they will.

They will not only contribute but become active proponents to the idea of one stream as long as they are not threatened and their inclusion to learn from them will be seen as great milestone in our education history.

Malays are already flocking to Chinese Schools they'll accept if politics is out.

 Use the best resources.
To drive the people, the Education at National level, have   the UEC stream and the current Examination stream and allow pupils to choose from both like the AEB and the Cambridge streams in the UK. The UEC stream has earned it.

Let Schools choose one stream or the other, let it be managed at the national level by separate administrators  then it will result in competition at that level the very top, the government only funds the two systems, and we'll see a real healthy growth of education in Malaysia via competition, two systems one Examination if that is possible to be set by the Examinations syndicate based on a common  syllabus.
 

Send selected teacher trainees of all races to China to learn Chinese and other subjects to become teachers, pick those who have a genuine and sincere desire to cultivate their fellow Malaysians regardless of race and creed, so they can not only teach Chinese but Science and Mathematics, learn why the Chinese (not Malaysians) are so entrepreneurial, and develop our future generations.

Send successful teacher trainees with the right qualifications, attitude and aptitude to countries like the US, Germany, UK and France to learn how they develop their children, be like Japan before world war 2.

On the cultural front involve everybody the Malaysian culture is evolving, Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai are on the Nasional breakfast  menu, we eat mamak mee, mee Melayu and so on, we have the equivalent of Ang Paw with the Malays as Duit Raya, Chinese use kebaya annd kubarong we also pray in Malay,  it is evolving for  truly Nasional Malaysian culture we have to involve everyone.

Stop segregating pupils according to race,  encourage the Malays pupils who form the majority to mix with other children as we used to do before and to this end Sports and other cultural activities play a huge part.

Bring in Educationists from India and the UK to seriously look and help manage our Teacher training programmes and if need be let them head thesew Institutions.

We have to look at our strengths and even the Tamil School (that I have been very critical about in the past ) have now improved their standards tremendously, their students are winning the National and International awards, and their levels in Bahasa, English Mathematics have even surpassed the other type of National Schools. How did they do it given the great disadvantageous positions these schools were in less than a decade ago. 

There are still some remnants of the  Mission Schools, how effective they will be is hard to tell, they contributed f=very effectively to our education system before.

Take politics and race out of education

The quest for one stream must come by tapping the resources of all people in our society and there is a real possibility of that being achieved if,  the Ministry of Education involves all the parties involved in Education system and stop playing a racial game here.

We must be focused here on what is best  for the development of the country into a first world country.

Disregard race, take politicians out of the equation, make it a crime to criticise and gain political advantage on race and religion in National Education, if we are serious about making our young quality graduates who can really positively and effectively  contribute to the nation and our development.

If we continue with our "tiga suku" politically driven education system we have today, this country is doomed to be a failure.

2020 Missed  2030 in danger of going he wrong way
We have already missed 2020 and I dare say with our focus on unimportant issues in our education system, our total lack of insight into what is really needed of our graduates for development of the country economically, technologically and the needs of enterprise a situation we have been in since  at least the early 80's,   by 2030 we will successfully sink into world nation. and that will be thanks to our politicians, our so called technocrats, and our leaders, who to this day insist on playingthe race card even with education our children.

Why? and the only reason one can attribute this to is that they can't be bothered, just find out ewhere their Children are being educated.

We can't have people like Mazlee heading education, please Mahathir, I think you have done that on purpose to spite everyone else since we did not let you take the portfolio of education with your Prime Ministers you put this man who seems not to have an inkling of really improving education and the core issues regarding that and National Development there.  

Russia can bring in the best Areo-space technology in the world into to Malaysia as Putin has just said, but all we will be able to do is to continue to be followers and not innovators and leaders,  we'll forever, be followers at this rate . take a look of how we fared with your favourite project in -the Auto Industries,   we are still reliant on foreign models, foreign technology and lack the ability to design, innovate and create new technology and a big part of that blame was to have Proton be led by inadequate people since its inception. 

 Made in Malaysia or China?

Proton for all its present worth is driving high because of China, Chinese technology  and Chinese Management, is that what  you planned for? Do want to continue to do just that?

Don't blame the Malays blame yourself, you allowed bureaucrats lead the industry, people without any experience in cars,   although we had people who owned and managed motor assembly plants successfully and they would have been the logical choice for progression bt you played the race card and see what has happened.

You could not have insulted us more.

We are calling a made in China product assembled in Malaysia a Malaysian product, how nice.

Education  should be the domain of the best,  the educators and policy makers must come of the crème de la crème of our society in this field and if that is not available buy them from Singapore, India, Finland anywhere where we can find the really best. 

Teachers, policy makers and and other educationists must be rewarded well enough that they do not have to look for other means of earning money like becoming private tutors which is so commonand so lucrative these days.


One Session Schools
One Session schools from 8.30 a.m to 4.30 pm.with break-times in the aggregate of one hour.

Build more Schools, have a only one session in schools, reintroduce sports at a serious level, and school hours should be stretched longer with breaks.

No morning school and afternoon school. only one session, one serious session. Reward teachers well and have performance driven incentives fo them, level the playing field.

Regulate class sizes, .

 Ban Homework
Ban home work for children like they have done in  Finland even China espouses to do so.
Children should not be burdened to the extent they find school a bore, or something weary.
Allow them to have a say on the subjects they'd like to pursue make them part of their education

Bring in sports seriously into the school curriculum, inculcate the spirit of competition, sports also gets students into the mindset of being competent and we need it to develop   well balanced educated young men and women  not to mention good sportsmen and sportswomen.

The authorities must show that they are serious, by involving all parties and if on merits another race will provide the best candidate to lead such initiatives it should go to that person, it is not race we are talking about we are talking about a truly and sincerely Malaysian system of education - one stream.
This is not NEP or privileges it is getting the best for our children all our children

Politicians should stay away let this body set up to do it decide and come out void of all political involvement are we matured enough to do that.

We need almost a total revamp of  our educational systems.

The Education Ministry will be the custodian of Education policy but the setting up of the policy must be the work of the Educationists, this will minimise  political interference. 

The Education minister will secure the budgets required prepared by the System administrators and managers, there should be no interference other than if it involves issues other than education.

Infrastructure could be the responsibility of the Ministry and mechanisms and rules must be in place to ensure that the Minister or any politician does not use his position to get the administrators to do their bidding.   

Why Politicians  Should be out 
Since Independence we have not really improved our education system, it has gone from bad to worse, and if it continues we are really going to become the sick man of ASEAN and maybe Asia.

Even Vietnam will supersede us  soon if they haven't already. 
Whilst our other ASEAN nations are improving leas and bounds we can't say the same for ourselves.





 

ANWAR AND JAYAKUMAR NEED TO GIVE US ANSWERS

TWO SEPARATE ISSUES:

ONE FOR ANWAR 

THE OTHER FOR  XAVIER JAYAKUMAR.

THE ANWAR ISSUE FIRST

Anwar needs to come out and assure the public that he was not the mastermind behind the Azmin videos as the IGP Hamid Bador had said the leader of a political party was the "mastermind."

It was after this announcement that Anwar toned down and sang a completely different tune from what he was doing prior to the arrests of his own political secretary, and other party members.

He should not blame the general public for being led to believe that he was indeed the mastermind, his sudden overtures to Azmin seems to suggest so too, and his sudden  call for a retreat where he orchestrated a call for support for him are all signs that he is the culprit behind the whole Azmin saga.

Is the he mastermind Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador mentioned?

Anwar has done more damage to himself and Parti Keadillan than the cumulative damage done to him from Sodomy 1 and Sodomy 2, because now he has openly left his integrity in tatters and his silence about his involvement makes matters only worse.

The talk in town and the belief of the rakyat is now IF HE COULD DO THAT TO HIS MOST FAITHFUL LIEUTENANT THINK WHAT HE CAN DO TO THE REST OF US.

The talk in the PKR circles is that this animosity, not just rivalry stems from the time he nominated his wife  for the position of Menteri Besar of Selangor.


PKR members of standing have revealed that during that time Azmin was not in favour of   Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as Menteri Besar of Selangor after Anwar  himself failed in his bid as he was about to go to jail to serve his sentence for Sodomy2.

The sources say that Azmin was upfront with his objections of Wan Azizah taking the position of  Menteri Besar of Selangor as he knew she was not fit for the position as the evidence will now show since she became DPM. She wasn't politically astute and would have been the ridicule of the opposition and the then Federal Government. The most certain recipe for the failure for the PH government in Selangor.

Knowing that  her failure would not augur too well for the party,  (Azmin knew that better than anyone else having served as her deputy and being a founding member of the party), he was not prepared to let the party and its struggles fail with this one crazy move.

This animosity was compounded  with the Nurul also joining the fray although she did no openly say so she felt that Azmin was becoming too ambitious and had betrayed the family, she felt that her mother should have been made the Menteri Besar, since that campaigning and other party activities were held

differently and the animosity kept under wraps, the Anwar family just did not trust Azmin, and that is why sthey have become so suspicious of Azmin becoming the next PM.

Prior to this Azmin himself began feeling threatened first by Zaid Ibrahim whom Anwar had brought into the party and who was vying the Deputy's position and then by Rafizi who turned out to be Anwar's blue eyed boy.

Anwar was relying on Rafizi to interpret the financial situation in the government for him, although he was Finance Minister previously Anwar's understanding of Finance and economics is next to zero, he is no financial wizard, and no strategist and as Diam Zainuddin said he was only a fiery orator who was short on deliverables.  Anwar is only a graduate in Malay studies everything he said as finance minister during his tenure as Finance Minister criticising Mahathir were nothing but echoes of what wwere being said by the IMF and other International bodies, after the financial crisis, at the end of the day Mahathir proved the whole damn lot including this upstart wrong.

feels must go to Rafizi when he takes over as PM that is if he does become PM.

Removing Anwar at that time  was probably the best thing Mahathir did, had he not done it Anwar would have formed an alliance with PAS and this would have been not just an Islamic State but a Islamic Republic and if you talk to his followers from his ABIM days what was part of  his thought process.

IS ANWAR GOING TO BE THE NEXT PM?

The answer rests with PH and more so with PKR are PKR members blindly loyal to Anwar Ibrahim or are their loyalties with the nation. The trouble is too many fo them are UMNOfied having their roots there and the thinking process so inclined. The non UMNO fellows look like they are more in the mold of the others who came before them and will follow for their own existence.

Are the PKR members just like UMNO members will they refuse to see these faults in Anwar Ibrahim and will they support him to become one although in the heart of hearts they all know he isn't  fit to be the PM and this is something both Wan Azizah and Nurul.know very well too, or will they leave sentiments aside and not back Anwar for the PM when the time comes.

If Anwar Ibrahi does become the Prime Minister of Malaysia he willbe the shortest serving Prime Minister this country would have eveer had and his demise will see the demise of PKR.

Frankly the PKR needs to continue that it started with Anwar Ibrahim's incarceration is no doubt, and  for it to continue as a force in this country Anwar Ibrahim must go.



THE XAVIER JAYAKUMAR ISSUE.

 

Was PD more Important than the water crisis?

This is the Minister of Minister of Water, Land and Natural Resources and where was he over the weekend?

Almost the entire Klang valley was without water, this minister hails from Klang and yet at this critical timein the face of a maajor water crisis he was out there attending political retreat playing politics according to Anwar Ibrahim's tune.

Many PKR MP's and leaders who had work to do thier own work skipped this political gathering arranged iwth what looked like ulterior motives, they knew their work commitment came first and gave that priority, but with the Klang valley at probably its fourth major water cut in twelve months causing hardships to the many ore than a million people was not important enough I suppose for Xavier Jayakumar to skip this political retreat.

Zuraidah did not turn up she had a prior engagement in Surabaya and some other pre-prepared function in line with her duties, so where was Xavier.

Duty first Politics next.

Probably he thought it would be settled in a day or two and left it at that.

This morning when I called his ministry I told the person who answered the phone that I suspected sabotage, because the two major breakdowns in the last 12 months came prior to an announced major maintenance shutdown, and after it was supposedly fixed in both cases it occurred again. Coincidence???

Well I think Xavier had better go buy numbers I think there is a better chance for him to win numbers then for this kind of occurrence to happen twice, or that the people who are handling the repairs are incompetent, I am sure not.

We all know that there are many  elements in these organizations waiting to see this government fall,  and a thorough investigation has to be carried out and such elements prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Leaving all that aside, there is no way one can get to the Syabas, or whoever it is  to get answers. Communication is only one way you take it, it does not matter if you do not accept bullshit, you just take it, they make the

announcement and you are supposed to accept the announcement whether you like it or not is of no consequence as far as they are concerned.

It is your money so what is the attitude, we are in charge and we'll do it you do not ask questions when anything goes wrong, we'll tell you and no matter how strange that sounds that is just it tht seems to be the attitude.

You call the Minister you can't get him either, you leave a message with his people for him to call you the message is taken but I suppose it is unthinkable for an ordinary citizen to call the minister right?  He is extremely busy playing politics in Port Dickson and now back at work he can't attend to the thousands possibly millions of angry phone calls form people who are still wondering if he's having a picnic in Port Dickson.

These multiple water disruptions are disrupting our lives, it's not a matter of fixing and repairing it is preventive maintenance, it is monitoring, it is making sure it does not happen, it is security, it is being able to envisage problems before it happens that is what managing is about and that is what is expected of you and your ministry.

Speaking in context of a dentist:

Yes, of course when teeth have decayed beyond repair you pull them out, that happens so often in the life of a dentist, if there is a cavity you fill it up that too us is o often the job of the dentist, but preventing all these from happening and ensuring that the other teeth are properly maintained is the more important aspect of dentistry, Oral health care, but more often than not dentist advertise services like tooth implant, painless extraction, tooth repair, capping and the others, and less often Oral care before this happens.

The same applies here, water is a resource that is so important to life as a whole, without water human beings can die, over the weekend the Klang General Hospital had its water cut too and the minister was either not aware or did not think that important enough to be on site to ensure that services  resumed as soon as possible, Port Dickson and support for Anwar was.

With the exception of a slight trickle for about three hours yesterday, I am still without water, announcement have been made that it had been restored at 3.00 a.m. yesterday  it is now 6.34 p.m my water tank is bone dry, my taps are bone dry, I am washing myself with bottled water I purchased from the shops and that too is now in short supply and the minister is yet to call me.

Well at 70 it  is not ideal to go out and fetch water either from the pipes out there or from the tankers situated about a kilometer from me at Taman Rakyat, especially with my cervical spondylosis.

So Mr. Minister whether you are busy at work or still at the picnic in Port Dickson please call me, I have left my number with the three people I called today.

 

PKR LEADERSHIP MUST COME OUT AND MAKE A STAND

 The present PKR "Retreat" in Port Dickson looks like it was originally planned to pass a resolution to remove Azmin Ali. 
It looks like Anwar took a change of course with the latest developments where his political secretary has been detained in connection with the production and distribution of the video implicating Azmin and the statement by the IGP that the leader of a Political Party was behind this move in which hundreds of thousands of ringgit were spent.

PKR IN SELF DESTRUCTION MODE

In the face of the current crisis in the party which Anwar Ibrahim will deny is a crisis and has been in denial on since it began even before the last party elections, the PKR leaders hav to come out and make their stand clear on the future of the party one way or the other.

No one and absolutely no one is bigger than the party not even Anwar Ibrahim, it is not his party nor is it Azmin's it belongs to the people - it is the Peoples Justice Party and justice begins at home.      

Strangely enough, the silence of the Deputy PM, Nurul Izzah and Rafizi is deafening to say the least, have they decided to remain quiet to give  an impression of neutrality - that they prefer to remain neutral and allow this crisis  to solve itself, or are they fanning the crisis from behind closed doors.

Anwar comes out hitting like a guerilla in guerilla warfare campaign,  he comes looking like he is supporting Azmin one time and yet at another he comes out with messages implying that Azzmin should go.

The worst was immediately after his political secretary was arrested and the police made a statement that some people higher up in the PKR hierarchy could be involved, was he hoping  make a quick fix so the investigations could cease and the case closed?


It got to boiling point when the IGP said a leader of a political party was involved and  that looked like a direct hit. The leader of a political party can only be one person, and if one looks at the people arrested so far in this conspiracy there can be only one.

What is even more damaging is that hundreds of thousands of ringgit have been spent on this conspiracy and we need to know where this money came from, did it come from our donations to the party and individuals in the party during the run up to the last elections- God forbid.

QUIET POLITICALLY QUIET

It is time for Rafizi to come clean and give us an account of  where the
donations he received went to. It was given by the people for specific causes and to date he has not given us an account of those funds, in his own interest he must and he must do it soon. With his background as an accountant he should have those figures properly accounted for and up to date, these were donations for specific purposes.

We voted for a government free from gutter politics and corruption, we asked for good governance, and transparency. Rafizi himself was in the forefront of these calls and he was the man so many of us - the rakyat trusted, it is time for him to come out and be accountable about those monies, transparent about the present crisis, what he knows  about the gutter politics currently and if any corrupt practices were involved in the making of this tape, he should not hide, he should tell us everything he knows he must be transparent, he owes that to the rakyat.

Extremely quiet and Nurul not to be seen

To Rafzi, Nurul Izzah and Puan Azizah this is what I have to tell you three,
"Hell's hottest spots are reserved for those who in the face of crisis declare neutrality" and may I add who play, " I dohno lah," to which I say don't be bodoh la.

It is not about any individual we are talking about, it is about our nation, our people and our children and if you are to be leaders come out as leaders do, do not just sit back and watch, this saga, it is destroying the entire party and the government as a whole, and you are looking like crooks who conspire and lie and are breaking this up for reasons of your own.

I am rather certain that if Anwar is implicated here for being the mastermind as circumstances would have us belief, he will fight Mahathir Mohaammed tooth and nail and suggest this is a conspiracy again, well crying wolf again may not be the best idea.

To the PKR leadership get out there and tell the party exactly what you think, do not sit back and say nothing.

It is shocking that even the likes of Tien Chua,  Xavier Jayakumar seem to be fence sitters, at the most they make very diplomatic calls and for good reason I presume, they are both Anwar supporters and staunch ones too.

For them and other leaders now is the time for a call on what is right, they have to  come out and make that call loud and clear, don't just sit there and watch, make that call regardless of personalities and your past relationships or  PKR burn by your own folly.

UGLY CONSPIRACY BY ONE WHO SHOUTED CONSPIRACY, CONSPIRACY, CONSPIRACY

In those days when Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was incarcerated by the BN government over charges for Sodomy his first defence was that he was being vicitimised and the majority of Malaysians even those who sat on BN tables believed him.

In the days that followed he was found guilty by the courts on the two occasions only to be pardoned by the King.

Guilty for Sodomy or not, Sodomy should not have been made the issue  to rid the country of a potential leader and that was the way most Malaysians felt, the majority did not feel he was not guilty but that charge was no excuse to get rid of a political opponent, his own personal and private life should not have been brought into the fray and all that is now history.

This very man who shouted CONSPIRACY!!!!! in the highest decibels his voice box could tolerate, is now looking like the conspirator in Mohamed Azmin's case and these are based  on statements made by the Inspector General of Police.

Without mentioning names, the Inspector General of Police has said, "the mastermind  in this  wicked pact (pakatan jahat) to embarrass and tarnish the reputation of a certain individual,  is the leader of a political party, " he continued saying, " the video, circulated with the aim of raising concern among the people, was produced (dihasilkan) by those paid hundreds of thousands of ringgit.” 

If that is not a conspiracy what is?

All those arrested thus far are active members of PKR and one is even the political secretary of Anwar Ibrahim, so who is this leader of the political party the IGP is speaking about? Who is this nasty Conspirator? HINDRAF of course not.

THE MASTER CONSPIRATOR MUST OWN UP AND QUIT

I think the time has come for this man and I am sure it does not take rocket science for you know who he is, to throw in the towel, admit his fault and quit and maybe take his family along, unless the younger ones can display some maturity in politics and not be influenced by the parents especially the father.

How can a man who betray his closest ally who stood by him over the years, fought with him who together with Mahathir, Mat Sabu and the rest went campaigning around the country to ensure the fall of the Barisan Nasional. What integrity has this man one wonders.

His lack of integrity, his use of gutter politics gives him no option but to leave, these were qualities he was campaigning on directly for integrity, transparency  and now even before he gets into active politics he is practicing gutter politics, just the opposite and his true colours seems to be coming out.

 VERY SOON I PREDICT THAT HE WILL STAND UP IN PARLIAMENT AND POINT HIS FINGER IN PARLIAMENT IF HE IS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION OF THIS WICKED SCHEME.

I am afraid one of these days he is going to stand up in Parliament and attack Mahathir Mohammed, only that this time we would like to see who wills stand up to support him?

Well I guess UMNO and the BN members of Parliament will support him, and honestly I think he will embrace their support in exchange to drop all charges against Najib, Zahid Hamidi and the rest of the crony entourage, and I am saying he will do it.

He via his faction of Parliamentarian supporters and others have been wrecking the unity in PKR adn now he has decided to stage this as he fears Azmin would ruin his dreams.

THE SODOMY ALLEGATION AGAINST AZMIN

To many Malaysians it really does not matter, because it is common knowledge that this practice was common even in the corridor of the Malay College in Kuala Kangsar and even this man would be be to vouch for it.

One source told me that his nick-name in the college was Angie Dickinson, because of his legs, it was rife in other boarding schools too, and many a boarding school boy is in UMNO, PAS, Bersatu and Amnah politics, who they  are and how many there are is left to be ascertained. Not all of them were in the act but it was common in the schools and it was common knowledge too.

If we are to pick up a man for Sodomy and have his political career ruined regardless of his ability to lead this nation we are in for ruin. We did not care if Anwar Ibrahim was a homosexual or not we still stood by him and fought, we fought the conspiracy, not the crime an outdated crime.

GAME OVER MR. LEADER YOU MAY WANT TO BE THERE BUT WE ARE NOT PREPARED TO HAVE YOU, YOUR INTEGRITY HAS FAILED YOU MISERABLY?

So MR. political leader throw in the towel while the going is still good, apologize and get out for good that is my sincere advice to you. Once that is done you can move on, your family can move and more importantly Malaysia can move on the way it should.

 THE PM HAS EXERCISED HIS DISCRETION - RESPECT IT.

It was  a stroke of brilliance, Mahathir used the discretionary powers vested on the PM and nailed the issue right appointing  Latheefa Koya as he new MACC chief.

Her integrity is without blemish as far as we know, she can't be easily intimidated, indications based on her character and what she stands for suggest  she may even do better than Harun Hashim the only MACC (ACA then) chief we had any respect for, he was so good the PM of the day removed him and made a judge of the chap probably for fear that too many big heads would roll in government.

Now suddenly this rule of law thing is being bent backwards a bit too much, there are extremists here too it seems who are what I would call rule of law extremists, there are times when discretion must be allowed and what is wrong if the Prime Minister exercises his discretion, which he is entitled to?

The appointment of the MACC chief is the sole prerogative of the Prime Minister, he is vested with that discretionary power and he does not need to consult anybody, he makes his choice singularly  if he feels that is in the best interest of the nation, as at the end of the day he is held responsible for that decision and more importantly for what it yields.

Now if the new MACC Chief he has appointed  fails  to live up to expectations, the PM will be held accountable, not by the Bar Council, not the opposition or even MPs from within the government who have kept quiet all this while and feel they have an opportunity to talk now, no  it will be only the PM because he took this decision by himself, he becomes singularly responsible for the outcomes.

If on the other had this new Chief does better than expected, it will reflect on the new government as a whole and the people of Malaysia - us, and a great many have the confidence she will live up to expectations.

To the Bar council, to the MP's on both sides of the divide, to all these people who have voiced their objections,  if what the PM did is illegal take him to court if there is a case to take him to court, or come out with valid reasons why you think Latheefa Koya  should not be  the next MACC head, otherwise please let the PM do his job, it's not always that he uses his discretionary powers.

The Prime Minister, must have that prerogative to exercise his  prerogatives as the head of government  at  anytime he feels it is important to do so and that is precisely what he is doing now, and in this special case I think he has done the right thing.

What is really surprising is that  the Wangsa Maju MP comes out and makes  statements that are actually troubling,  and this is actually what she said, ""This has nothing to do with Latheefa's integrity and capability," then she admits that both she and Latheefa sit on opposite sides within the party, that alone should disqualify her from making statements about this particular appointment as it reeks of  internal politicking and factionalism, that is something we did not vote for and the fact that it comes from her - a former BN person makes it more suspect.

Are there people within PKR who need to to be protected, as her statements seem to imply?

That is the more pertinent question, because if you look carefully at her statements there may be.

Now  is that "protection" the cause for the factionalism within PKR?

Tan's statement in Malaysiakini, " Some had viewed Latheefa’s MACC appointment as a political tool to block party president Anwar Ibrahim from becoming the eighth prime minister, noted Tan" begs clarification.

If the MACC chief can stop Anwar then what she is saying in essence is that she does not trust the AG, the Judiciary and the PM,and is she implying that there may be corruption cases against Anwar to be looked into? Why else should she make such statements?

To stop Anwar, Latifah from her role as MACC chief has to charge him for corruption, she can't get him for sex scandals that is beyond her purview.

If in the unlikely event she brings charges agaisnt Anwar, then the AG Tommy Thomas has to agree with her  that she has a Prima Facie  case and find merits to bring him to court, and the judiciary has to convict Anwar  and only then can Anwar be stopped, so is she implying that all these appointments are fixed for Anwar?

Is she telling us there is a case and Anwar needs to be "protected"? or

Is she smearing the government of the day by her actions, being a PKR member the party has to weigh its options as far as she is concerned remember where she came from.

Well we all know that there is no such thing, Tan Yew Kew seems like a loose cannon she seems to desperately want to plant doubt in the minds of the electorate and has to be checked by the party for its own health,  and that begs the question: Is the Wangssa Maju MP Tan Yee Kew a Trojan Horse, she sure is looking like one and PKR has to seriously consider what to do with her.

I am certain that on all sides of the divide there are many who have had their hands on the till at one time or another, in one way or another or who have been corrupt in some way or another and since it is really difficult to say who is and who is not it is best the PM makes the choice himself and that is precisely what he has done period.

We all know it is difficult to find a suitable person in government service who you can really say is not corrupt or is at least not suspect,  even among MPs in today's government, we have so many who have come over from the  BN parties and who have had an influence in government are suspect too, so you look for someone you can trust, has the ability to do the job, who you know is clean and who is not afraid to call a spade a spade regardless, and to Mahathir  Latheefa is the one, and many Malaysians back that decision.

The next in line to be taken to task  with the MACC as we know are Hishamuddin and Zahid and there is  also the case of Mohamad Salleh Ismail, remember there are also  members who are in Bersatu who were then in the BN who may be implicated in these cases too, there are many  who came into PKR from BN too and we all know that too well,  it is  being shown so glaringly that the entire BN and its machinery were corrupted to the core is no more n official secret, many a BN person is now still in government both in the civil service and in Parliament, even the head of the opposition had been accused of receiving monies   so who do you select,  the select parliamentary committee too could have worms and the PM can't be expected to take chances with this position of the appointment of the MACC chief he has dome the very right thing.

Then there are possible cases against  the former chief of the Elections Commission, agaisnt the former Inspectors General of Police, the Attorney Generals, cases against Heads of many Government departments and all these have to be  investigated and where action is necessary it has to be taken.

With all these cases the PM is not expected to listen to a select committee and select someone who may  himself/herself be compromised.

Zahid, Hishamuddin were in the Home Ministry they have had close association with the agencies which will inevitably in one way or another be involved in investigations, for that matter even Muhyiddin who is the sitting minister of Home affairs could be subject to investigations for activities during the Najib era so with all these complications what panel can Mahathir trust.

Latheefa Koay feels most certainly honoured to have been given this position, she seems excited with this appointment and did not have to think about it twice, she has accepted it and I must congratulate her.

If there be any specific valid reason as to why she should not be given this position let it be voiced.

Are any of the people now being investigated related to her?

Has she been implicated in any corruption case?

Is she suspect to have been an accomplice in any corrupt case that we know of?

If there is any such reason let those in the know the Bar Council speak up or else keep shut and let Latheefa Koya Carry on, let her performance speak if that be wanting then everyone including your goodself will speak up.

For the moment, let the PM do his job without hindrance and when he needs advice he'll ask you

UMNO'S JESTER (LOKEMAN) MOVES EAST WITH NAJIB FOR SANDAKAN CAMPAIGN

Lokeman is famous for rhetoric and now after his failed "Black Attire Campaign" this Najib's Jester is now being taken by Najib to Sandakan to campaign there.

In fact no one takes Lokeman seriously, he is more of a sidekick who is given the freedom to make statements like those made by Jamal Yunos who is now very quiet.

In fact this failed politician is hardly taken seriously in fact he is more like Najib's jester and that is exactly how Najib treats him.

Now he moves East with his Boss in tow, if his boss is not accepted than Lokeman will take centre stage,and display his antics there., that is how the jester works.

I wish Angelina Jolie of Al Jazeera is there this time again to interview Najib, that will be great.

He will begin with his religious campaign saying that the religion is under threat, the Malays are under threat and will promise everything including the Pan Borneo Highway.

Of course it was, in fact from the time it was in power the BN only took from Sabah and put it in more misery than ever into Sabah by inflating its population with illegal immigrants who were later legitimised and made citizens.

I was in Sabah in 2009, I was really amazed that  the "land below the wind has beaches that will put Bali to shame, Sabah has a Tourist potential that will give it more wealth than its Petroleum and Palm Oil  if managed well, and the only people who can really do that are the Sabahans themselves because they know Sabah better than anyone else.

If the question of Sabah's population is addressed and put right, and the Federal Government is committed to beefing up security in Sabah and Sabah waters are safeguarded from the marauders from the Filipino Islands - the Abu Sayaf, Sabah will become the Tourists Paradise in Asia stripping Thailand and even Bali.

Sabah is poised to provide immensely beautiful family Tourism, a fantastic convention centre to world Tourism Nature at its best.

All this has been overlooked and allowed to deteriorate under UMNO, to the extent UMNO brought in illegals and legalised them there.

It is time Sabah takes all of that back, and the DAP can champion that for he Sabahans and that is exactly what Lokeman is going to make an issue of, he is going to tell you that that DAP is anti Islam, it si anti Malay.

Now consider this by 2035 the majority of DAP members will be orang Asal, Malays like Lokeman included although he is not Orang Asal, he will tell you that religion will be under threat, that is the kind of rhetoric UMNO is famous for divide the people and then steal from you using their lackeys in the Sabah. Isn't that what they have been doing all this time?

SABAH NEEDS TO PUT A STOP TO THIS NOW

The Sabahans need to give the Pakatan the opportunity to right the wrongs it has suffered since becoming part of Malaysia and the only way to do it is now with Pakatan if moves are nto properly organised for this they'll have th3e opportunity to move them out in the elections to come, but it is high time Sabah tried to give the Pakatan a chance to see if it is better in delivery than BN and of course it is,

IGP OUT OF HIS MIND TO TELL THE US TO LIFT TRAVEL ADVISORY

 TO THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE -A REPLY TO HIS CALL TO THE US TO WITHDRAW ADVISORY  ON MALAYSIA

Mr. IGP DO YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHY THIS TRAVEL ADVISORY?
ARE YOU AN IDIOT OR A HYPOCRITE TO PRETEND YOU DON'T?
Well let me outline some details for you just in case you are so daft.
1. The Abu Syaf operations in Sabah where scores of people have been kidnapped including and mainly tourists, your purported operations to free them - where ransom money was not accounted for as Abu Syaf did not receive the full sum raises questions.
Tourists have paid with their lives for visiting Malaysia what can you say about it?

2.Where did the balance of the millions OF Ringgits  collected for ransom go to?
Finance terror activities in the Philippines?
Into the pockets of some ministers?
Into the pockets of some senior Police Officials?

The US and other countries will see it as money that has most probably gone to finance other subversive or terror activities in Sabah,  now does that not raise concern with their nationals coming to Malaysia?
In the absence of proper accountability that is the only conclusion they can draw from a "Safety first" for their own Citizens point of view.

3.Then there is the disappearance of Pastor Koh, activists Amri, in what looked very much like an organised Police action, but you deny it, you say you're unable to track these people down.

Well we Malaysians do not believe you , because we think that after seeing the photographs and and videos of the operations, especially the motorbike that went to divert traffic, we are quite sure it was as the Suhakam inquiry concluded - the Special branch.

If they were terrorists they would have just fired hails of bullets on the oncoming traffic, these people knew they had to do a job fast but nevertheless they knew they had the time, the cops would not intervene, after all if they were cops as well and they had the muscle to cope with anyone else who might intervene.

Any reasonable person will, on the substantial merits of the facts present, your reluctance to come out with a periodic report to keep the public informed on what is and was happening with your investigations,  be convinced that the Police were not really concerned investigating this case, and in all probability the police or as Suhakanm inquiry has concluded that  the branch of the Police force referred to as the SB were.

Now, if we Malaysians can believe that, think what foreigners would believe.

I'd like to ask you if  you are complicit in this case. I am beginning to  believe so and I am sure I am not alone here.

Look what you have done to this nation, you have no foresight and one wonders how you ever became Police Chief, you should have been aware of your incpabilities and should not have and should not have accepted the position, that you did leaves so much open to speculation and reasonable people will think you went in full aware of your role in this activities which I'd term subversive.

Did Najib bring you in to reform and  head a secret and clandestine police force,, a force  that was already at that time already looking so, to silence people by whatever means were possible and available.

After all at that time there was a lot of noise about the government, Najib's government and the Police Force he had complete control over,  and the credibility of the Police Force was at its lowest, it still is with you around, a legacy of the Najib Razak regime.

I seriously think that is why you were brought in, the level of intelligence and common sense displayed by you so far as Police Chief seems to indicate that you will dumbly follow and do any stupid thing required to keep your position.

There needs to be thorough investigation and inquest into you and the former IGP Khalid as well, there is the people trafficking case now in progress, where some cops were deliberately excluded from the investigation as you do not trust good and honest officers. that is what the reply in today's papers seems to imply.

Then there was Xavier Justo and the IGP's interest in him in Thailand, when the IGP should have been busy going after Najib, when you should have gone after Najib as head of the Special branch then instead you exonerated him the both of you, now will you admit that even with so much of evidence around for you to have remained silent you were complicit?

There are deaths - apparent murders - Altantuya Shaaribu - and in case you haven't heard there is talk that, yes, Najib did not do it, Kill Altantuya,  but a woman ordered it, and Najib knows that, can you tell us truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth about this matter?

We all know that as head of special branch you would have had intimate knowledge about that case, if you haven't you did not do your job and deliberately so  too, the two murderers were Cops from a very special unit of the force and personal body guards to Najib and wife.

Who leaked the arrest warrant for Najib, to Najib to preempt the arrest and allow Najib to summarily dismiss the Attorney General from Office for what Najib claimed were "health reasons", health reasons that the then AG himself was not aware of?

There were only that number of Tan Sri's who knew of the impending arrest, they met and agreed to it, there was a case and it had to be done in the national interest,  so who did it be? One of those Tan Sri's was a cop.

I am sure Khalid is not going to tell us that, in fact all Malaysians will vouch for that, that Khalid will not tell us, but you as head of special branch what were doing, doing an Ostrich on all Malaysians?

I am sure you'll either say, I don't know, or that you will investigate, or that you were not privy to all that. take your pick I have provided you all the answers you can give just in case you are asked.

Then there is PI Bala's sudden death which for all intents and purposes looked so natural, honestly I have my doubts and so too many other Malaysians,  and I am sure you are "not aware" of it.

Altantya was blown to smithereens, we have  never known of such murders in our lifetime,inthe last seventy years we have never heard of such gruesome, and barbaric killings, Altantuya even pleaded for her unborn child, what barbaric animal or monster could have ordered the killing?

Is there any connection between you and Abu Syaf via intermediaries in Southern Philippines?

You headed the SB so you tell us, it is a question that needs an honest answer, there are so many possibilities, in  murders everyone is suspect, cops included, isn't that what you people say?

In the Najib era the IGP, your predecessor would arrest any Abdul, Wong or Muniandy for sedition if they said anything against Najib or Rosmah, they were busy doing that, the terror activities the murders taking place were not important to the Police force led by the both of you and the then IGP.

By your very actions you were reigning terror on the people, what was the agenda?

The people have no confidence in you, how can foreigners, and you are out of place coming up with this call; Urging the US to withdraw, the travel advisory on Malaysia.

Considering the above can you present some really good reasons why they should withdraw that advisory.
Like the majority of Malaysians I am keen they do so, because this is my country and I want the Tourists to keep coming to this country to keep our economy growing, your actions however  prove otherwise.
